Welcome Message

Prof Jerome LovelandChair: Local Organising Committee

As you are by now aware, the Biennial Congress of The South African Transplantation Society is taking place from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2015. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend this meeting, which promises to stimulate your minds in an enthralling environment!

We have chosen to host the meeting at the Legend Golf and Safari Lodge in the Waterberg, which in addition to providing a wonderful congress venue, promises to keep our small community in a contained family friendly venue, with a broad spectrum of activities to enjoy.

Our international guest speakers are leaders in their respective fields, and we have put together a program that in addition to the educational component, will provide a forum for vigorous debate and discussion, and in addition will introduce various innovative interactive components to the meeting for the first time.

We as the organising committee look forward to your registrations and submissions, and anticipate a highly successful meeting.
