Sasquatch Books has a new arrival! After nearly twenty years of producing high-quality
childrens books like O is for Orcaby Art Wolfe and Andrea Helman, andAlaskas Three Bearsby
Shelley Gill, Sasquatch Books is branching out with a brand new
childrens imprint called Little Bigfoot.
The imprint will expand the companys current childrenspublishing program, bringing readers more quality books that
celebrate the very best of the Pacific Northwest and showcase the
unique talents of local authors and illustrators like John Skewes,
Matthew Porter, and Kate Endle. This array of board books and
picture books will appeal to children of all ages in the Northwest
and worldwide.
We have published childrens books practically since
Sasquatch Books started in the late 80s, says Publisher Gary
Luke. Creating the Little Bigfoot imprint for our new releases and
our backlist recognizes our excitement about all of the creativity that goes into these books.
The first release under the Little Bigfoot name will be a book that perfectly exemplifies theimprints focus on Northwest heritage: Hannah Vianos paper-cut alphabet book S is for Salmon:
A Pacific Northwest Alphabetdue out in February 2014. The 2014 list will also include six new
adventures in the popular Larry Gets Lost series by John Skewes, two new titles by Monkey World
author and illustrator Matthew Porter, and Pickles and the P-Flock Bulliesby Serendipity founder and
author Stephen Cosgrove and illustrator Robin James.
