Regulations and Conditions of Entry 1) All competitors and exhibitors must pay to
enter the Showgrounds.
2) Any competitor or exhibitor who wishes to lodge a Protest shall do so in writing accompanied by a Bond of $50.00 within one (1) hour of completion of the Event to main office. The Chief Ring Stewards decision is final.
3) It shall be a condition of entry that the Sarina Show Society Inc. will not be responsible for any accident to any exhibit at the show.
4) All horses are to be under complete control at all times, failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the show grounds for the safety of patrons.
5) Only competitors and Officials are allowed in the Ring during Judging.
6) Competitors, Handlers, Grooms and Others in charge of Exhibits must conform to all directions given by the Stewards. Failure to comply may result in a Fine and or ejection from the Showgrounds.
7) Judges may decline to make Awards where entries are of insufficient merit.
8) Prize money will be paid at completion of each class.
9) Any colt or stallion two years and over shall be led with safe and secure equipment.
10) Stallions may compete in Halter Classes, Dressage, Western Performance Events, and where specified.
11) If numbers permit, Classes may be split at the Chief Ring Steward’s discretion.
12) On the occasion of a clash of events for a Competitor, he/she must decide which event he/she intends to enter. All competitors will receive three (3) calls only. Latecomers may not be accepted. Program times can only be altered at the discretion of the Chief Ring Steward.
13) All entries are accepted subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies and the By-Laws of the Sarina Show Society Inc.
14) The Executive Committee reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Schedule at any time and without notice.
15) Registration Papers must be presented on request.
16) Nominations as specified in the Schedule will be by Pre Nomination (Pre Nomination closes 5pm Wednesday 18th October 2017), this can be done by either of the following methods, pre nominations will not be accepted unless all paperwork is completed correctly and payment accompanies the entry form:
a) Email the Entry Form to [email protected]
b) Post the Entry Form to Secretary, Sarina Show Society, PO Box 119, Sarina Qld 4737
c) Fax the Entry Form to (07) 4956 2036.
Payment can be made by either of the following methods:
a) Direct Deposit into Bank Account Name: Sarina Show Society Inc. BSB: 633-108 Account Number: 146042494. (Please use detailed reference)
b) Payment will be accepted at the Show Office two week prior to the show.
c) EFTPOS
There will be no refund for unused tickets.
Nominations will be accepted on the day of the show (Please see nomination fees).
17) Random blood samples/urine samples may be taken at any time by the Society’s Veterinary Surgeon to test for prohibited substances.
18) All Riders regardless of age who wish to compete in any event MUST sign an INDEMNITY form PRIOR to entering any
classes. A BIOSECURITY HORSE HEALTH DECLARATION MUST ALSO BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED. Forms available at ticket office. NO INDEMNITY /BIOSECURITY HORSE HEALTH FORM - NO ENTRY TO CLASSES.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION
* Everyone needs to bring a helper for the weekend to HELP make the weekend run
smoothly. If you are under 18 you must have a Guardian/Parent on the grounds at all times, there is a form required by parent and
guardian to sign in the event that parent is not present.
* Judge has the right to refuse a rider/horse combination and all competitors must follow instructions as given by Event Secretary,
Judge/Course Builder or Steward. * Horses are permitted 2 starts per day, in 2
heights. This excludes feature events. * One Horse/Rider combination.
* This event is run under EA regulations. * All classes are mounted presentation.
* The Organizing Committee encourages all riders to be dressed according to FEI dress standards.
* Australian helmet standards apply, riders must wear helmets and approved riding boots
at all times while mounted. * Please have Horse Health Declarations, Dangerous Activity Forms, Video/Photograph
Authorization Form filled out and handed in prior to commencement of classes.
* Please keep the area tidy and clean, help out where you can and be aware that there will be other clubs using the grounds so be respectful
of them. * Dogs are welcomed but MUST not be in the
Ring/Warmup area at any time. They MUST be kept on a leash at all times. * Stallions must display their Green Disc's at
all times.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: The organizing committee reserve the right to; cancel any class or event, combine or divide
classes according to the numbers nominated and the rules governing splitting of groups,
alter advertised times, transfer competitors between sections of a class and to refuse any entry with or without stating a reason.

illness during the last 3 days leading up to this event. I give my authorisation for the Event Organising Committee/Manager to call for
veterinary inspection of horse/s named above and in my care should they be showing signs of illness at any tim e during the course of
the event. I agree to pay any veterinary fees incurred for the abovementioned horse/s as a result of this veterinary examina tion.
I AGREE TO ENSURE THAT:
1. All horses will be shampooed, rinsed and allowed to dry, and their hooves will picked clean of all solid material and washed with
shampoo.
2. All vehicles and equipment accompanying the horses will be cleaned to remove all solid material that could contain disease
agents, and then disinfected.

act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt.

I agree to follow any rules, regulations and signage as set out by the Sarina Show Society Inc., and
any instruction from the volunteer ring stewards at the Sarina Showgrounds and that any
misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction will result in my immediate removal from Sarina
Showgrounds. I agree to wear a helmet and the necessary safety gear whilst riding a horse. If I
suffer any injury or illness, I agree that the Event Organiser and/or Sarina Show Society Inc.
management and volunteers may provide evacuation, first aid and medical treatment at my own
expense and my acceptance of these terms and conditions constitutes my consent to such
evacuation, first aid and/or medical treatment.
EFFECT OF THIS DOCUMENT
I understand that my signature to this document constitutes a complete and unconditional release of
all liability of Sarina Show Society Inc., Sarina Show Society Inc. Committee members and
volunteers, to the greatest extent allowed by law, in the event of me and/or the children under my
care, suffering injury or death.
