The design uses an unenclosed steel structure resembling a large shipyard , allowing for a kit of parts in which pieces are moved be travelling gantry cranes, including pre-fabricated walls, platforms, floors, stairs, and ceiling modules.
Inside, enclosures such as theatres, cinemas, restaurants, workshops, rally areas, can be assembled, moved, re-arranged and scrapped continuously

Students CenteredThe Schine Student Center at Syracuse University caters to the needs of a diverse population of 20,000 students. To allow student ownership of the building that's role is to provide program for their needs, an environment of visible student control is crucial. This design places student circulation, socialization, and organization through the center of the site, the supporting program connected and accessed only through the central atria. Whether looking from the outside in or standing on the winding stair cases, students are the highlighted program.
