2. What is the drinking age??The age that you are allowed to drink alcohol in New Zealand is at the age of 18 years old. I think New Zealand teens get into a lot of accidents though because of drunk driving. 3. Other Countries drinking ages. American's can drink alcohol at the age of 21. Which is 3 years higher than the age New Zealander's can. Research shows that American's overall get into fewer accidents than New Zealander's. 4. Overall.... I think that the drinking age should maybe go up by one or two years because New Zealander's have a lot of car accidents. If the age increases the percentage of accidents will lower.
