$here are three different license key installation processes! $he correct process for you depends onwhich SA software technology you use!

SAP #e$ AS %ith A&AP an SAP &asis'

Applications that contain the SAP #e$ Application Ser(er')i*itally encrypte license keys as o+ #E& AS 7'0'

As of an upgrade with %asis &e' AS ! (A%A)* you should re#uest and install the new* digitallysigned license key! $his new* digitally signed license key avoids additional data'ase accesses* thusimproving performance! &hen you make the re#uest* make sure that you re#uest it for the e+istingsystem and with the stanarlicense type!

You are logged on to the SA system and are authori,ed to use this transaction (authori,ation o'-ectS.A/M0.2/3SL02)!

You can use transaction SL024NS4 to manage license keys for 5elease 6!72 in your SAsystem! 0n the SA menu* choose Administration 8 System Administration 8 Administration 8 SA

0n the dialog 'o+ that is displayed* specify the file to 'e loaded from the file system!

Specify and confirm the license key file!

You receive a success message that you must confirm! $he new license is displayed under90nstalled Licenses9!
