SAP Class system for Securities & ListedDerivatives

SAP system has greate Class system which can help in classification of different objects (help.sap.com)We can use SAP Class system in TRM, but only with Security and Listed derivative classes (tr. FWZZ).

 

There are four main parts to SAP Classification:

• Characteristic maintanance

• Class maintanance

• Classification (assignments/value assignments)

• Finding objects

 

We will configure the following parameters:

1. Define Characteristics Group - additional level of classification with classed and characteristics.IMG -> Cross-Application Components -> Classification System -> Characteristics -> Define Characteristics

3. Define Characteristic Statuses

Statuses (tr. SM30 -> V_CMS)

 

The characteristic status affects the use of a characteristic in classes.

Characteristics with status "In preparation" cannot be used in classes.

Characteristics with status "Released" can be used in classes without restrictions.

Characteristics with status "Locked" can no longer be used in classes. This status does not affect classes

where the characteristic is already used.

3. Security class

After everything is done - go to FWZZ and create Security class for 04I product type.

You'll see new tab - "Classification" and all data which we have created.

 

Enter "ZBNDCLASSIFICATION" class, press "Create Classification" button.

 

And in "Charecteristic Value" field you can enter data accordting to your classification of the bond:

• Issuer

• Priority
