SAP R/3: It is the client/server version of the software launched in 1992. It is 3 tier architecture (1-Presnt.,2-App,3-DB)

R/3 architecture was replaced by ERP Central Component (ECC)

SAP R/3 supports all business processes, including production , sales ,distribution , Finance, & accounting ,maintenance and Human Resources

A Transaction code is a four- character

command that tells the system location of a task.

We enter a Transaction code in the command

field to go directly to a transaction or function.

Each SAP screen has a unique T-code.

A T-code may contains only letters such as

ZSTM or a combination of letters and numbers

such as ME51

SAP ERP allows you to create a new session at

any time.
