This is built as an iOS application using SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Service and SDK for iOS. When the iOS device camera ispointed at the poster, detailed information posted by the publisher is automatically translated into the (native) default language setby the iOS user and will be displayed as an AR object. Also, user’s activity information (By whom, where and how) can be trackedand analyzed in real-time by SAP HANA .

Now people from different background (countries & languages) can understand the Noticeboards and Advertisement. They canreceive the information same as from local's perspective. By real-time tracking and analyzing user’s activity information, along withlocation information will help to improve the services of these poster’s publishers.

The media such as noticeboards and advertisement found in the city are targeted only for locals and cannot understood byforeigners. While society is globalizing, these local information media in analog form is difficult to reach foreigners. Advertisementbusiness target shrinking has been an issue due to this. By providing this solution, foreigners from different background (countries &languages) can easily get information. Also, we are challenging on the expansion of business targets to reach information properlyfor these people.

Business Challenges and Objectives Despite the advanced translation technology is available so far, generally the information media from advertisements and

posters that can be seen around the cities are written in local (native) language, which can be understand by the locals only.

This PoC will use SAP’s latest cloud and mobile technology. By this we’re challenging to provide a solution that the foreigners from any background (countries & languages) able to exchange information easily.Challenging to build a UX, using mobile and AR technology. This enables to access the information in more realistic

perspective.Challenging on analyzing the publishment effect and future prediction by building a solution for tracking and analyzing

the user’s activity in real-time. The PoC currently targets internal media (office noticeboards and advertisements), but we believe that this solution can be

extended to advertisement industry. In the future we’re planning to develop an Android based application too.

Expanding the target:Through this solution, our aim is to expand the analog information media (posters seen around the cities) which the publisher wants to deliver.

Fairness in Information exchange:We’re building this solution to provide information to eliminate the language barrier of foreigners and able to exchange the information in their original language (as in local language and common language like English)

Accurate effect measurement based on location information:Until now this media is available in analog form (as posters), so we’re aiming is to test methods of effective measurement and predictive analytics, that haven’t implemented so far. It will be implemented by tracking and analyzing the user’s history when using this solution (the features such as display count, click count, order history, etc.) in real- time and accurately indigital form.

Project Background and the issues learned

Proceeding with this Project Ideation: To provide varies solution ideas on the theme below, we held a design thinking session among

the international and local employees.

How can we help foreigners staying in a countries of which is not their native language and receive information from local media (advertisements, noticeboards, etc.) same way as local people?

Development: from above mentioned theme, we developed the prototype in agile method, repeating the cycle as Build → Ideation → Feedback.

In Accenture Japan, International employees from different background (countries and languages) communicate with each other. Inside office many information media such as posters and noticeboards are available in Japanese and due to lack of Japanese most of these employees find it difficult to get necessary information from them. This is taken as an issue because it's necessary to provide information to by overcoming language barrier.

Focusing at society, we noticed that there is a similar issue with commercial media and notice boards, and the information is not reaching to the people properly. This causes the shrinking of business scope.

This PoC will use SCP and mobile technology. By this we’re challenge to build a solution which foreigners from any background (countries & languages) able to exchange information easily.

Most of the noticeboards and advertisement are targeted for the locals who are nativespeakers. As for foreigners, it is difficult to understand the information on these posters dueto language barrier

As mentioned above, Currently following points are seen as the disadvantage of these media. Posters written in other language : Complicated Design / difficult to understand by all Universal Design : Less Information / Ambiguity
