With injection-extraction system, a solution of water and chemical is sprayed into the carpet’s f ibres and

immediately sucked. The solution and the dirt removed are recovered in the machine body. The cleaning result is

improved w ith the mechanical action of a rotating brush, w hich allows to remove dirt from the base of carpet

f ibres, for a complete cleaning of each f ibres. No residual dirt w ill re-emerge from the f ibres base on the carpet

surface a few days after cleaning.

HIGH WATERLIFT technology

The drying time of carpet after cleaning highly depends on the vacuum strength. Specially designed high waterlift

vacuum motors have been developed for Santoemma machines, allow ing to get up to 50% higher waterlif t than

standard carpet extractors. This results in an extremely shorter drying time than with normal carpet extractors:

carpet can be completely dry w ithin 1 hour. Not only the drying time is reduced, but also a better cleaning result

is obtained, since the extra solution extracted from carpet f ibers contains extra dirt removed from carpet.

The same residual dirty solution, if left evaporating on carpet as it normally happens, would leave the carpet not so

clean as with Santoemma machines.

A pre-spray of a concentrated chemical solution on carpet is usually recommended

before starting cleaning, in order to facilitate the detachment of dirt from carpet f ibers.

This helps to get a better cleaning result and to accelerate the follow ing cleaning

operation as well. Pre-spray is normally performed using special pre-sprayers

devices, either manual or electric.

Santoemma has developed a patented pre-spray system, allow ing to pre-spray w ith

the same extraction machine used for cleaning, providing a controlled and optimal

chemical concentration.

The operator does not have to use dedicated device. He can pre-spray surfaces very

fast, thanks to the machine’s pump high performance, and can rely on a high

autonomy, for the complete machine’s tank capacity. The waste of time due to

frequent refilling of portable pre-sprayers is therefore eliminated.

Instant hot water system

In carpet and textiles cleaning, the cleaning result can be sensibly improved by using a HOT

solution, instead of room temperature solution. Specif ic tests show that cleaning carpet with

just 10°C more can give the same result as cleaning tw ice. Santoemma instant heating

system allows to get hot water immediately after switching the machine on. It is not necessary

to w ait a long time until the w hole solution tank gets w arm, as it happens w ith some hot w ater

machines on the market.

Automatic Chemical dosing

The solution of water and chemical is normally obtained adding chemical into the solution tank. To get a correct

concentration, it is necessary to calculate the quantity of chemical to be added, according to the solution tank

capacity. After cleaning, the residual solution in the tank is normally w asted. Santoemma developed a patented

system to perform an automatic dosing of chemical during carpet cleaning, w ith many advantages (see

SMARTKIT system).

Carpet rinsing to remove chemical residuals

After cleaning carpet w ith chemical, it is recommended to rinse the surfaces, in order to remove sticky residuals of

chemical w hich might cause a quick resoling of carpet afterwards.

The rinsing phase, though important, is only seldom performed because of the time it requires: it would be

necessary to drain the complete tank and f ill it w ith clean water only.

For Santoemma models equipped w ith SMARTKIT system, it is possible to rinse carpet, simply turning a lever.

Therefore no chemical is w asted and time is saved. Rinsing carpet at the end of the cleaning process, will make it

re-soil as slowly as when it was new.

Maintenance low-moisture or Restorative deep-cleaning

Most of Santoemma machines are able to work both in maintenance or in deep-cleaning modality, according to

the dirt degree and to the t ime from the last cleaning. For a maintenance cleaning, the minimum water-f low is

sprayed on the carpet, while for a restorative deep-cleaning a powerful f low is sprayed, to completely clean very

dirty carpets.

Foam extraction cleaning

In some particular areas, such as carpet or rugs near room entrance, or when the application requires an

immediate availability of carpet after cleaning, carpet can be cleaned w ith foam, instead of a solution of water and

chemical. Thanks to the special Santoemma DENSE FOAM technology, available on specif ic models of the range,

it is possible to clean little areas of carpet w ith foam. Foam is spread on the surfaces, brushed and after some

seconds vacuumed. This system can be also used for upholstery cleaning, to get a very short drying time after

cleaning.

The right machine for each area: BOX or SELF CONTAINED machines

Box extractors are composed by machine body, hoses and external wand used to spray and

vacuum carpet. An optional Power brush wand can be used instead of the normal w and. By

adding special optionals, a Santoemma box extractor can be transformed in a “Professional

carpet cleaning set”, which combines all the cleaning factors in an optimal w ay, giving

incomparable cleaning results.

Self contained machines incorporate the cleaning unit below the machine body. The operator

moves the machine on the carpet surface, cleaning parallel stripes of carpet, with higher

performances in terms of square meters cleaned per hour. External tools can be used as well, to

clean hard-to-reach areas.

Sabrina is a machine especially designed to clean little surfaces of carpet and hard floor. Notwithstanding its little size, Sabrina is suitable

for professional use, and it is also indicated for hard-work, such as rental use or use by cleaning companies. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and to get the shortest drying time. Equipped with the optional rotating brush wand NS270BRUSH, Sabrina allows to get excellent cleaning results. Sabrina is supplied with the wand for carpet and hard floor NS270N. The hand tool for cleaning upholstery and inside of cars (NS10PN) is optional. With the optional accessory

NS270TURBODUST Sabrina works as a vacuum cleaner as well. Thanks to the filter inside the accessory, there is no need to make any change to the machine in order to switch its function.

Sabrina-Hot is the smallest extractor with instant water heating. Using hot water allows a more effective cleaning of very dirty textiles. Moreover, its high-waterlift vacuum

system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and to get a shortest drying time. Sabrina-Hot can be loaded in a small car or carried on the top of the stairs without efforts, thanks to its contained size and weight. Sabrina-Hot is supplied as standard with the hand tool NS10PN-M and it can be connected also to the optional accessory for cleaning carpet and hard floor (NS270N). Sabrina-Hot is suggested for those cleaning companies that need an easy-to-carry hot water extractor.

Sabrina-Maxi is a professional machine for cleaning medium areas of carpet. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from

carpet and to get a shortest drying time. Strong, compact and easy to carry, this machine is ideal for cleaning companies. Its small width makes it particularly suitable also for cleaning in trains, busses, cinemas and planes. Sabrina Maxi can be supplied with the instant hot water unit HT1800 and with the optional power brush wand NS270BRUSH. Optional hand-tools are available, in plastic (NS10PN) or in aluminium (NS10ALL).

If equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to perform automatic

chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing.

Grace is a professional carpet extractor with 2 high-waterlift vacuum motors for fast

cleaning of big areas of carpet. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and to get a shortest drying time. The two tanks, 70 litres each, enable a long autonomy of operation. Dedicated brackets allow to hang hoses and wand on the machine, to easily move the complete machine from site to site. It can be supplied with the instant hot water unit HT1800 and with the optional power brush heating wand NS400BR-HT. If equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to

perform automatic chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing.

GraceHP is a high-performances carpet extractor, with a 28 Bars piston pump and 2 high-waterlift vacuum motors. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover

the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and to get a shortest drying time. The high pressure flow allows to remove the dirt more easily from carpet fibers. The two tanks, 70 litres each, enable a long autonomy of operation. GraceHP is particularly indicated for professional carpet cleaners. Dedicated brackets allow to hang hoses and wand on the machine, to easily move the complete machine from site to site. It can be used with the instant hot water unit HT1800-HP and with the optional

power brush heating wand NS400BR-HT. GraceHP is supplied with an integrated patented system, allowing automatic chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing.

Serena-Silent is a particularly silent carpet extractor (60 decibel only!) with an excellent vacuum power, thanks to its three stages high-waterlift vacuum motor. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and to get the shortest drying time. Thanks to its quite running, this machine is

recommended to clean hotels, offices, banks, and any other noise-sensitive areas. Dedicated brackets allow to hang hoses and wand on the machine, to easily move the complete machine from site to site. It can be supplied with the instant hot water unit HT1800 and with the optional power brush heating wand NS400BR-HT. If equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to perform automatic chemical

SMARTKIT is a multiple patented system developed by Santoemma, available for box

extractors and self contained machines Sabrina-Maxi, Serena-Silent, Grace, GraceHP, Charis, Elite-Silent, Powerful and Elite-Battery, giving many advantages in carpet cleaning.

SMARTKIT provides an automatic chemical dosing, ensuring a correct chemical concentration and eliminating the dilution operations normally required to the user.

Moreover, using a specific pipe and pre-spray gun, it is possible to perform carpet pre-spraying before cleaning, which helps to get a better cleaning result and to accelerate the following cleaning operations.

It is also possible to rinse carpet after cleaning, removing all chemical residuals from

carpet fibres, avoiding a fast resoling of carpet after cleaning.

Finally, by simply turning a lever it is also possible to quickly commutate between low-moisture maintenance cleaning and restorative deep-cleaning.

The instant heater HT1800 is an optional device that can be connected to Santoemma machines models Sabrina-Maxi, Serena-Silent, Grace, GraceHP, Charis, Elite-Silent, Powerful, allowing to clean with hot water.

Special optionals

The Blower ST810 can be used after cleaning, accelerating the evaporation of residual humidity from carpet. Carpet can be dry in a very short time. ST810 is a low-noise blower,

with a high power (1Hp) and 3 working speeds. The integrated handle allows an easy transportation from site to site.

NS400BR-HT is a special wand, with 2 counter-rotating cylindrical brushes. An incorporated instant heating system allows to instantly heat the cleaning solution sprayed on carpet. This wand is particularly suggested for the models Serena-Silent, Grace and

GraceHP. The cleaning result is excellent, thanks to the combination of mechanical brushing action and temperature. In particular, the two counter-rotating brushes allow to lift all the carpet fibres and clean them from all sides, removing also the dirt from the base of the fibres. Even a very dirty carpet is left completely cleaned in a single pass. Carpet is left almost dry.

NS270BRUSH is a special wand, with a cylindrical rotating brush, to be used for cleaning carpet in combination with an injection-extraction machine. The mechanical brushing action

allows to remove the dirt from the base of the carpet fibres. No residual dirt will re-emerge from carpet few days after cleaning. Even a very dirty carpet is left completely clean in a single pass. It is not necessary to use a lot of water to clean carpet, therefore the drying time is minimal: carpet can be dry in 1 hour.

Sharon-Brush is a self-contained machine with rotating brush, designed for professional cleaning of small areas of carpet and hard floor. A special device allows to

switch from carpet to hard floor cleaning by simply turning a knob. The rotating brush, with automatic pressure adjustment, is able to deep clean both very dirty carpet and hard floor. Its small width (only 29 cm) allows the machine to be used also in very narrow rooms. The water-flow can be adjusted for a maintenance low-moisture cleaning or a restoration deep-cleaning. It is possible to connect the hand tool NS10PN to the machine, for cleaning armchairs and hard-to-reach spots. Sharon-Brush is indicated

also for the hiring to private users thanks to its strength and its easy use. Its professional

Charis is a patented self-contained machine for cleaning middle areas of carpet, with several innovative features. With Charis it is possible to perfectly clean a 40cm stripe of carpet, in a single pass, thanks to its 2 counter-rotating brushes, removing the dirt from the base of carpet fibres. The water-flow can be adjusted, for a

maintenance low-moisture cleaning or a restoration deep-cleaning. Santoemma high waterlift vacuum system allows an excellent removal of the dirt and a shortest drying time: carpet can be dry in one hour! With only 60 decibel, it is possible to work without disturbing other people.

The patented “click” system allows to manoeuvre the machine in a lightest way. It is possible to work for many hours without effort. With Charis it is possible to perform a deep pre-brushing of carpet before extraction cleaning, which is useful for very dirty carpet areas.

After cleaning a stripe of carpet, moving backwards, it is enough to slightly push the handle down and special support wheels will raise the machine, which can easily slide forward to the beginning of next stripe, without any effort for the operator. It is not necessary to bend the machine back towards the operator and push it forward, keeping it in equilibrium on the rear wheels, as happens with all pull-back extractors on the market.

Optional SMARTKIT system

Adding to CHARIS the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to perform carpet pre-spraying with concentrated chemical solution, automatic chemical dosing and carpet rinsing. The chemical is put as concentrated in a bottle and the machine’s tank contains clean water only. When chemical injection is required, the machine automatically

sprays chemical in an optimal concentration, either during carpet extraction cleaning or in carpet pre-spraying.

During extraction cleaning with chemical, a controlled chemical concentration is ensured, with no need for the operator to perform any dilution. Wrong chemical concentrations and waste of chemical are avoided.

Using a dedicated pre-spray hose and gun, it is possible to pre-spray carpet with a concentrated chemical solution. Pre-spraying carpet with a concentrated chemical solution allows a longer dwell time for the chemical, which helps detaching the dirt from carpet fibres. With

SMARTKIT, it is possible to let the machine work with clean water only, in order to rinse carpet fibres, removing any sticky chemical residual and ensuring a slow resoling after cleaning.

Elite-Silent is a self-contained extractor for carpet and hard floor with manual traction. It washes, brushes and dries a stripe of 50 cm of carpet, moving forward, cleaning up to 500 sq. meters in one hour. The 3 stage high-waterlift motor allows to dry carpet very efficiently. Elite-Silent is a very silent machine,

since it works with 60 Decibels only. It is possible to adjust the brush and vacuum head pressure, according to the type of carpet. The water-flow can be regulated, for a maintenance low-moisture cleaning or a restoration deep-cleaning. Elite-Silent can be supplied with the instant hot water unit HT1800. If equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to

perform automatic chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing. The optional squeegee SQ720E allows to clean hard floor. An extra brush, specific for hard floor cleaning, is also available.

Self Contained machines

Powerful is a self-propelled machine designed to clean very large areas of carpet. It washes, brushes and dries a stripe of 50 cm of carpet, moving forward

with adjustable speed, cleaning up to 600 square meters in one hour. The differential of the driving motor allows the machine to turn without effort, giving it a good manoeuvrability even in narrow areas, as for example in corridors. The pressure of the rotating brush can be adjusted, according to the type of carpet. The water-flow can be regulated, for a maintenance low-moisture cleaning or a restoration deep-cleaning. Powerful can be supplied with the instant hot water unit

HT1800. If equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to perform automatic chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing.

Elite-Battery is a battery self-contained machine for cleaning large areas of carpet. It washes, brushes and dries a stripe of 50 cm of carpet, moving forward. Without power cord, it is easy to operate with Elite-Battery in large areas, for example in hotels, shopping centres, airports, convention rooms. Elite-Battery is a

very silent extractor, since it works with 60 decibels only. It is possible to adjust the brush and vacuum head pressure, according to the type of carpet. The water-flow can be regulated, for a maintenance low-moisture cleaning or a restoration deep-cleaning. Equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to perform automatic chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing.

Foam Extraction machines

In some particular areas, such as carpet or rugs near room entrance, or when the application requires an immediate

availability of carpet after cleaning, carpet can be cleaned with foam, instead of a solution of water and chemical.

Thanks to the special Santoemma DENSE FOAM technology, available on specific models of the range, it is

possible to clean small areas of carpet with foam. Dense foam is spread on the surfaces, brushed and vacuumed

after some seconds. Unlike a normal solution of water and detergent, dense foam does not penetrate in the depth of

carpet, but acts only on the superficial layer, just where the most of the dirt lies. Foam extraction system allows to

get an excellent maintenance cleaning and an extremely short drying time.

In order to obtain the special dense foam, the chemical solution is mixed with compressed air, obtained by a

dedicated air compressor. The quality of foam is therefore much better than the “l iq ui d foam” of some machines

on the market, which have no compressor. On the other hand, thanks to its optimal density, dense foam does not

remain only on the surface (as it happens with “d ry foam”), but it penetrates for few millimetres in the superficial

layer where the dirt lies.

Sabrina-Foam is a foam extraction machine, with internal compressor. It sprays a special dense foam on the surface to be cleaned, either carpet or upholstery.

The foam density is adjustable. Sabrina-Foam can also work as an injection-extraction machine. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and upholstery and to get the shortest drying time.

Sabrina-Foam can also be used with the power-brush tool NS270BRUSH, in order to get a better cleaning result, thanks to the mechanical action of the cylindrical brush.

HOT-Sabrina-Foam is a foam extraction machine, with internal compressor. Thanks to a Santoemma patented system, HOT-Sabrina-Foam is able to spray a special HOT dense foam on the surface to be cleaned. HOT foam is even more effective than foam at room temperature and allows an even shorter drying time. Foam is

instantly heated as soon as the machine is switched on. The foam density is adjustable.

HOT-Sabrina-Foam can work also as a HOT injection-extraction machine. Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and upholstery and to get a shortest drying time. HOT-Sabrina-Foam can also be used with the power-brush tool NS270BRUSH, in order to get a better cleaning result, thanks to the mechanical action of the cylindrical brush.

NS270TURBODUST is an innovative vacuum tool, with rotating brush and internal dust

bag, which allows vacuuming carpets with any extraction machine. Its rotating brush allows to completely remove dust from carpet fibres.

Particularly suitable for the model Sabrina, it can be used with any machine to vacuum carpet before cleaning. This tool has no brush motor, since the brush rotation is activated by the extraction machine’s airflow. Also, no vacuum motor is contained inside the tool, since the air is vacuumed by the machine body. Therefore, it is extremely light to use.

Since dust is collected by the bag inside the tool, there is no need to make any change to the extraction machine before switching from injection-extraction cleaning to dust vacuuming and

vice versa.

Its use is recommended to prev ent an excessive creation of foam inside the machine’s recov ery tank (due to improper chemicals or improper use).
