TOP FINISHINGBefore starting all cuts, place profiles’ edges at a 90º degrees angle.

1 - Make a 45º degrees cut with the base-board in the horizontal position. Keep the small piece left, this piece must have one side cut at 45º and the other side at 90º degrees, it’s this piece that will make the “top finishing”. Turn the profile and cut the other side also at 45º de-grees, starting by the main face.

Note: The cut distance must be equal to the profile thickness.

2 - Apply super glue, moisture resistant, to the two pieces cut in angle (small piece and bar).

3 - Connect the two pieces cut in angle with instant glue.

SEAMS IN PROFILES’ MERGER

90º DEGREES SEAMS FOR WALL CORNERS 

1 - When starting to install Santa Luzia Mouldings on wide walls, you may need to combine multiple profiles. For that, cut the profiles’ edges in 45º degrees (45º Angle).

2 - Connect the profiles in a way one cut covers completely the other.

1 - Cut the merging profiles in 45º de-grees, starting with the main face.

2 - One of the profiles need to be cut backwards for joining with the other. After performing the cuts, place the profiles together on the wall corner to make sure the angle is closed. After that, set the profiles.

1 - With a cloth, remove all the wall dust.

2 - Make the necessary cut, according to the cut method of this manual.

3 - With the aid of a cloth, remove all waste from the bar. 

4 - Apply small pieces of approximately 1 ½" with spacing between the tapes of maximum 15".

Note: For a better setting, use dou-ble-sided tape with a minimum width of ½".

GLUE AND DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE

5 - After double-sided tape application, take the glue and apply behind the pro-files, making two lines parallel with the wire path slot on the moulding.

Note: Profiles with more than 4 inches, it’s recommended three parallel lines of glue.

6 - Now place the profile in the installa-tion position and press against the wall. For a better result, use your hand or rub-ber hammer.

7 - Use instant glue, moisture resistant, at the profiles’ seams.

8 - Make the finishing, according to the FINISH METHOD of this manual.

4 - Take the glue and apply on the pro-files’ back, making two lines parallel with the wire path slot on the moulding. Profiles with more than 4 inches, it’s rec-ommended three parallel lines of glue. Use instant glue on the profiles seams.

5 - Now place the profile in the installa-tion position and press against the wall. For a better result, use your hand or rub-ber hammer.

6 - Now with the aligned profile and al-ready pre-settled with glue, apply the first nail at a 2 inches’ distance from one of the edges, in the middle of the pro-file. Apply the remaining nails, also at the middle, with a 15" spacing between them. At the other profile edge, repeat step nº 2.

Note: Use 1 ½" to 2" nails, maximum with 0,2mm diameter.

Caution: Take care not to apply the nail in the height of wire path slot, located on the profile back, this way avoiding cracks or breakage.

7 - Use instant glue at the profiles’ seams.

8 - Make the finishing, according to the FINISH METHOD of this manual.

FINISHING WITH CAULKING

1 and 2 - After installation of all profiles, for a better finish, make the seams’ fin-ishing with caulking.

3 - If necessary, also apply caulk against the wall to remove any possible imper-fections.

4 - With the aid of a damp cloth, remove caulk excess.

2 - Apply a thick layer of glue across the piece rear.

3 - Place the piece very close to the wall and align it against the floor.

4 - Press firmly against the wall for a better adherence.

ACABADO FINALAntes de iniciar los cortes, ponga los filos de los perfiles en un angulo de 90º grados.

FUSION DE LOS PERFILES EN LAS JUNTURAS

JUNTURAS DE 90º GRADOS PARA LAS ESQUINAS

1 - Empezando a instalar las molduras de Santa Luzia en paredes largas, va a necesi-tar usar varios perfiles. Para esto hay que cortar los perfiles en angulos de 45 gra-dos.

2 - Conectar los perfiles de manera que un corte cubra completamente al otro.

1 - Cortar las junturas de los perfiles am-bos en 45º grados empezando con la ca-ra principal.

2 - Uno de los perfiles necesita ser corta-do al revés para que asi puedan ser uni-dos el uno al otro después de realizar los cortes, a continuación junte los perfiles en la esquina para asegurar que estos se cierren perfectamente .

1 - Realice un corte de 45º grados con el zócalo en posición horizontal. Quedarse con el pedazo cortado, este pedazo debe tener un lado cortado a 45º grados y el otro a 90º grados, este es el pedazo que será el del “acabado final”. De vuelta el perfil y corte el otro lado también en 45º grados, empezando en la cara principal.

Nota: El corte tiene que ser igual al espe-sor del perfil.

2 - Aplicar super glue o la gotita, resisten-te a humedad. A los dos pedazos corta-dos en angulo ( el pedazo chico y el res-to del zócalo)

3 - Conectar las dos piezas cortadas en angulo con pegamento instantáneo.

1 - Con un pano, remueva toda suciedad de las paredes.

2 - Realice los cortes necesarios, de acuerdo al método de corte en este ma-nual.

3 - Con la ayuda del pano, remueva toda suciedad de las barras a aplicar.

4 - Aplique pedazos pequenos de apro-ximadamente 1 ½" con un espacio entre las cintas de un máximo de 15 pulgadas.

Nota: Para mejor ajuste, use cinta adhe-siva de dos caras con un minimo ancho de ½ pulgada.

PEGAMENTO Y CINTA CON PEGAMENTO DE DOS CARAS

5 - Despues de aplicar la cinta de doble cara, tome la pistola con pegamento y aplique detrás de la moldura haciendo dos lineas paralelas.

Nota: Para perfiles de mas de 4 pulgadas se recomienda usar 3 lineas paralelas de pegamento.

6 - Ahora ponga el perfil en la posición de instalación y presione contra la pared. Para un buen resultado use su mano o un martillo de goma.

7 - Use pegamento instantáneo, resisten-te a humedad en los juntes de los per-files.

8 - Realise el terminado de acuerdo al método de acabado final de este manual.

1 - Con un pano, remueva toda suciedad de las paredes.

2 - Haga los cortes necesarios de acuer-do al método de cortes de este manual.

3 - Con la ayuda de un pano remueva la suciedad del perfil.

4 - Tome el pegamento y aplique en la parte de atrás de los perfiles en dos li-neas paralelas a la ranura de las moldu-ras. Perfiles de mas de 4 pulgadas se re-comienda aplicar 3 lineas paralelas de pegamento y use pegamento instantá-neo en las junturas.

5 - Ahora ponga el perfil en la posición de instalación y presione contra la pered y para mejor resultado use la mano o un martillo de goma.

6 - Ahora con el perfil ya nivelado y con el pegamento puesto, aplique el primer clavo a dos pulgadas de distancia de uno de los filos, en el medio del perfil. Apli-que el resto de los clavos también al me-dio con un espacio de 15 pulgadas de es-pacio entre ellos. Al otro extremo repita el paso numero 2.

Nota: Use clavos de 1 ½ a 2 pulgadas máximo con 0,2 mm de diámetro.

Advertencia: No clave a la altura de la ranura en la parte de atrás del perfil, de esta manera se evitaran roturas.

7 - Use pegamento instantáneo en las junturas de los perfiles.

8 - Ejecute el acabado de acuerdo al mé-todo de acabado final de este manual.

1 y 2 - Despues de instalar los perfiles, para un acabado mejor, termine las jun-turas con calafate.

3 - Si fuera necesario, tambien aplique calafate en la pared para asi arreglar cualquier imperfeccion.

4 - Con la ayuda de un paño humedo, re-mueva el exeso de calafate.

1 - Con un pano limpio, remover toda su-ciedad de las paredes.

2 - Aplicar una capa gruesa de pegamen-to en la parte posterior.

3 - Ponga la pieza muy cerca a la pared y apoye contra el piso.

4 - Presione firmemente contra la pared para mejor adherencia.
