NOW PART OF OUR STOCK PROGRAM SANDVIK 254 SMO SEAMLESS TUBE & PIPE TWICE AS STRONG, SUPER TOUGH AND IN STOCK! Twice as strong as conventional stainless tube – with high corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 600°C – this high-alloy austenitic tube is ideal in conditions where duplexes run into trouble and higher nickel alloys are too costly. Due to its high levels of molybdenum (6.1%), nickel (18%) and chromium (20%), Sandvik 254 SMO (UNS S31254 / EN 1.4547) is optimal for combating seawater and other aggressive chloride-bearing media – often where heat or pressure are present. FROM OFFSHORE APPLICATIONS TO KETCHUP MANUFACTURING Developed for the offshore oil & gas industry, Sandvik 254 SMO is now used for critical components in the pulp & paper industry (bleaching rollers, sleeves, filters), food processing (coping with hot vinegar used in ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise production), flue gas cleaning, maritime exhaust gas cleaning (ECG) and more. Its good weldability, coupled with high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion (PRE = ≥43,0), general corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, makes it a popular choice. HIGH QUALITY SAFEGUARDS PRODUCTIVITY Sandvik is an integrated manufacturer, meaning that we take control of the entire manufacturing process – from melt to final product. For you, that means full traceability and extremely high-quality consistency from batch to batch. As a result, the material not only meets the required standards but maximizes service life by ensuring minimal downtime. SANDVIK 254 SMO SEAMLESS TUBE & PIPE

TWICE AS STRONG, SUPER TOUGH AND IN STOCK!

FROM OFFSHORE APPLICATIONS TO KETCHUP MANUFACTURING Developed for the offshore oil & gas industry, Sandvik 254 SMO is now used for critical components in the pulp & paper industry (bleaching rollers, sleeves,

filters), food processing (coping with hot vinegar used in ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise production), flue gas cleaning, maritime exhaust gas cleaning (ECG) and more.
