International Meet Is Opened; Favor Frisco For 1926 Convention Although nothing- definite anent the matter
of who shall be the next president of the International Association of Lions clubs has yet developed at the convention, it was strongly intimated by prominent Lions yesterday,, among whom was the present president, Harry A. Newman, that Benjamin F. Jones, first vice-president, of Newark, N. J., will be the 1925-26 leader. It is also generally believed among the delegates that San Francisco will be the next convention city.
Jones, who is 55 years of age, is one of the leading attorneys of New Jersey. He has served at various times as district court judge _ and county counsel in Orange, N. J., and a s speaker of the New Jersey house of assembly. He is a graduate of the New York university of law. He is also an extensive dealer in Florida real estate.
