    Add gasket to wall plate

    Drill holes in wall plate along the two rib lines

    Thefirstpairofholesshouldbe25mmfromtheedgeand thenspacedevery525mmalong the length.The lastpair shouldbe25mmfromthefaredge.Theholecentrescan be adjusted to cater for obstructionson the retaining wall.

    A8mmdiametermetaldrill bit shouldbeusedforthis.

    Offerthewallplateuptothehostwall, mark the holes removewall plate

    Drill a 8mm diameter hole forthefixingsofthewallplateusingmasonry drill bit to a suitabledepth(110mm).

    Offerwallplatetothewall,fastenthe wall plate using the throughfixingframeanchors.

    Runabeadofsiliconealongthetopofwallplateagainst thewallto seal.

    If the wall is uneaven then a secondaryflashingsuchaschased in leadorflash-bandmayberequired.

    Position the locationof thePostConnectorBrackettoyoursoundconcrete floor (if the floor is notsuitablethenitmustberecasttobesuitable)andmarkthecentreholes.

    Posts should never bemore than 2.75mapart,or0.25mfromtheendsofthegutter/beam.

    Ensure that the holes run parallel to thehostwall,thisensuresthegutterbeamwillbe parallel

    Drill the holes marked using a12mm diameter masonry drill,to at least a depth of 90mm,ensuringanydebrisisremoved.

    Drill a 12mm diameter hole ineachofthe60mmx60mmposts20mm from the end and centralon the face. Ensure there aretwoholeson twoopposite facesready to the connecting bolt to passthrough.

    Reposition the Post connector bracket and fasten to the floorusingtheshieldanchor.

    Ensure the vertical flanges are at rightangles to the wall so that when the bolt connecting it to the post is inserted these are inserted parallel.

    Ensuretheconnectorsareinstraightlinereadyfortheposts.TheBaseholeontheconnector is oversized to allow for someminoradjustmentstoensuretheseareinline.usedforthis.

    Locate each post over the connector bracket and securethrough with the M12 x70mmstainless bolt.

    Thepostsshouldnowhavea20mmgapatthebottom,thisissothatthepost/postsbeinguseasthedownpipecanexpelthewater.

    Decide on which post / posts are goingtobeuseasdownpipeandmark the location on the insideofthegutterwithtwostraiglinesrepresenting the edges of thepost /s

    ScrewtheGutterBeamEndplatesonto the section, sealing on the insideusingsiliconesealant.

    Within these linesdrillanumberof holes so that the water canescape down the inside of thepost.

    Use the same 12mm diameter as usedfor thepost thenyoushouldget9holes,ifusingasmallerdiameterdrillmoreholeswouldneedtobedrilled.

    Drilling theholes insteadof usinga holecutter will help ensure no large debrisenterstheposttocauseablockage.

    Place gutter ontop of posts.Ensuringthatitisdirectlyoppositeand inline with the wall plate.

    Thepostswillsitinsidethetwoflangesonthebottomofthegutterbeamsection.

    16. Drill 4 holes (two on each side flange)witha5mmdrillbit,evenlyspaced, (20mm fromeach edgeofthePost).

    Securepoststothegutterbeamusingthe4.8mmblindrivets.Andsiliconesealpostifbeingusedasdownpie.

    Ifspace is tightdue toobstructions, thenthe posts will have to be removed fromthe post connectors. The posts then fastenedtothegutterbeamandthenthewholeassemblyofpostsandgutterbeamsecuredbackontothepostconnectors.

    The bars will span from thewallplate,acrosstothefrontbeamgutter.Ifthesystemissettothemaximum projection then thesewillnotneedtobecut.Ifthebarsdoneedtobecut,thisshouldbedonenowbeforeinstalling.

    Thebaseofthebarwheninplaceshouldoverhang into the gutter section 30mmwhen installed.

    Once the bars are all the correct length, the bar endcaps shouldbe installed on the end of eachbar.Thiswillthendefinetheendofthebarthatwillbehangingintothegutter.

    The protective film on thesheets should be peeled backapporximatly50mmonalledgesand on both sides.

    Ensuring the sheet is free fromdustmoistureandanyotherdebrithesheettapesshouldbeappliedto the two sheet ends.

    IftheBarsarecuttolength,thenthesheetsshouldbecutinlengthalsotothesamesizeusingafinetoothsaw.

    Thesheetenclosuresshouldbecutto1Mlengthsandpositionedover the tapes centrally.

    With the sheets being approx. 1050mmwidethisleaveapprox25mmoneachsideuncovered.

    Itisimportantthatontheendofthesheetintendedforthegutterthatthedripsectionfacesdownas tonot impede the flowofwater off the sheet.At the end intendedforthewallplateitisimportanttohavethedripfacinguptohelpactasawaterbufferifthereareharddrivingwinds.

    Polycarbonate multiwall sheets are UVtreated,oftenthisisonlyononeside.Itisimportantthatthissideisthetopsurface.The sheet will tell you which this is butgeneralpracticeisthatthecoverfilmwiththetextonistheUVprotectedside.

    It isagoodideanottoremovethecoverfilmstotallyatthisstage,becausetheywillhelpprotectthesheetsfromrubmarks,anditiseasytoforgetwhichsideshouldfaceup,andoncethecoverfilmisremoveditisnearlyimpossibletotell.

    Thefirstbarshouldbepositionedflush against the gutter beamendcap,andflushwiththeendofthewallplatealso.Thebarshouldoverhang the gutter 30mm withtheendcapatthegutterend.

    Ahandywayofensuring thebar is inthecorrect position and help prevent it frommovingwhen installing is toputa60mmwide block ofwood or offcut of post intothegutter.Thiswillspacethebarsothatitoverhangscorrectly.Butanysuchpackingmustberemovedafterthebarissecured.

    From underneath two 5mmdiameter holes should be drilledthrough the underside of thewallplate and the glazing bar (along the fixing groove line).Theseshouldbe10mmfromthetwoouteredgesoftheglazingbartoallowastrongfixing.

    Insert the polycarbonate sheet into the bar side, ensuring thesheet is the correctly prepared (step23)andthecorrectwayup.Ensurethesheetisfullyretainedin the bar and that the 1M sheet closures are up tight to the bar.This is important as the sheetclosureswillhelpensurethebarsare spaced correctly.

    Fastenthewallplateandbarstogetherusingtwo4.8mmx12mmblindrivetsthroughthefixingholesjustcreated.

    Repeatsteps25&26butonthefrontbeamnotthewallplate.

    29. Insert anewbaronto the frameand engage the polycarbonate sheet so that the two long sides ofthesheetaresupported.Thesebars should now be spaced 1Mapart(1050mmbarcentres).

    Remember theendcapof thebarshouldbe at the bottom (gutter) end of the roofwith the bar overhanging into the gutter30mm.

    Repeatsteps25to27onthenewbarjustadded.

    Repeatsteps28to31untilalloftheroofisglazed.Thefinalbarshouldfinishflushwiththeendofthewallplateandbeam.

    Ifthecanopyisnotgoingtobeastandardlengthandneedsshortening,thenpleaserememberthatthedimensionslistedhereallneedtobeadjustedinproportiontothereducedcanopysize.Thesheetscanbecutwithafinetoothsawandthealuminiumwithahacksaw.

    Runasmallbeadofappropriatesiliconesealantalongthejointofthe sheet and the bar.

    Screw the wallplate endplates intoposition,andsealwithasmallbeadofsilicone.
