Love All
What do you think might happen if our whole church
celebrated Christmas in a truly different way?
Our members have suggested the following generous
expressions of love as a way to share the love of Jesus this
Christmas.
We offer:
Our SCPC Giving Tree . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4
Ways to Serve . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 6
Gifts to Give . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 12
After you serve, pray or give, come to church and
anonymously write your gift on a silver ornament and hang it
on our "Giving Tree” in the Sanctuary Lounge. Let's see just
how much we can give this Christmas.

Our Family to
Your Family
Reach out to your
neighbors this
Christmas with a special gift, the 24-language DVD “The Story of JESUS
Through the Eyes of Children,” so they can hear and see the real story
of Jesus from the book of Luke. Pick up a DVD on the patio in
December and share it with a family whose heart language is not
English. Watch it first! But pass it on…maybe with a plate of cookies or
a Christmas greeting. For more information go to
OurFamilytoYourFamily.org or contact Paul and Marilyn Miller at
492.0037 or [email protected].
Pray for SCPC Camps

financial support. Contact Diana
Castruita at [email protected] or
492.6158, ext. 21.
Prayer Chain
There are over 300 people on the prayer chain. SCPC members and
attendees request prayer for themselves, family or friends. Please join the
prayer chain and lift up your brothers and sisters in prayer. Contact
Enid Sloan at [email protected] or 366.0643.
Prayer and Squares
The idea behind these quilts is simple,
yet powerful. Quilts are made and
threads are left free to be tied with a
square knot. As a knot is tied, a silent
prayer is offered for the person in need
who has asked us to pray for them. Then
the quilt is delivered to that person.
More quilters are needed to make these tangible gifts of prayer.
