SAN ANDRES ISLANDS:

LOCATED:

Is located to 80 km of Nicaragua coast and to 775 km northwest of the Colombian coast.

LANGUAGE: the language from san Andres isn't only one: Spanish is spoken here, the English and some French, without forget the cultural language that is the creol.

Johnny cay: This beautiful island located in front of the main beach of San Andrés was declared a regional park it in 2001. It is located approximately 1.5 kms from San Andres Island and is the largest of the cays that surround it.

ADVANTAGES:

The Food are so delicious, the relaxing ambient and peaceful, the people are almost always friendly, the sea is the best thing in the island for its clean and transparent water also for its seven colors and fish biodiversity.

San Andres is famous for its Caribbean rhythms of Calypso, Socca, Reggae and church music. All are held in May at the Moon Festival.

San Andres also is the best destination for its beautiful views and sunsets, the nature is everywhere.

Also you can find many things like splash, sweet, creams between others very very cheap.

DISADVANTAGES:

There are few bad things but one is that the islanders are very regionalist, They never accept an unpleasant and aggressive a treatment to them, if it happens chances are a fight and most islanders can be very aggressive people at that time because they defend their origins. Also is very expensive the transport between other things likes the food, drinks, ice cream.... Also, people are not always worry clean and care their environment, including of the islands.

My opinion:

San Andres for me is the best trip that you can do if you want to relax and enjoy to the fullest in nature, is a small island but have all the necessary. I found people very kind, friendly, cheerful and funny.

Also people love bob Marley and its houses are very colorful like him, people listen him daily and all the time.

Since my experience all is perfect here, but the best thing for me is the incredible and colorful sea, in the times that I went to san Andres I must accept that the best part was when I had dive in the ocean.
