In Sammer Gallery we offer exclusive services, from the moment the process of choosing a piece of art starts, till it has been finally placed.
We also offer consultancy to our clients and we advise them, if necessary, where to integrate the works of art in their home, their work place or their office.
Our colaboration includes the transport of paintings or sculptures to be studied in situ for possible locations, with no obligation to buy or expenses to be paid. We also do top-quality packing and we ship all over the world.
Our involvement with our clients makes us work hard to obtain the maximum harmony between the art pieces and the means in which they travel so we can obtain full satisfaction from those who trust in us.

Sammer, which in Arabic means «a pleasant soirée», first opened its doors in the city of London in 1975, specialising in 19th Century Orientalism as its founder, Sam Benady, worked as architect to King Khalid bin Abdul Azis of Saudi Arabia and his family for 13 years. He opened his first gallery in Spain in 1978, in the central Plaza de la Independencia in Madrid (next to Sotheby´s) where he showed Spanish 19th Century paintings. Ten years later he opened a second gallery dedicated to the presentation and promotion of young contemporary figurative artists.
Once established as a gallery of contemporary art, the decision was taken to open in Puerto Banus in 1995 due to the amount of foreign settlers and the demand for good art.
The success of Sammer Gallery was such that five years later it had to move to bigger premises. At present it is installed in more than 800 square meters built especially to house the gallery. With huge glass frontage, the works of art can be seen from the outside day and night. It is a magnificent construction of stainless steel and marble. The gallery offers the right ambience for the celebration of musical evenings with famous opera singers and classical music, an important meeting point for the social and cultural life of Marbella.
It is a gallery that does not follow fashions, it creates them; that understands the market and knows that the taste and needs of clients are very diverse, covering art from expressionism to surrealism through figurative and naïf, not forgetting fauvism, hyperrealism and other tendencies.
Саммер, что в переводе с арабского языка означает “приятный вечер”, открыла свои двери в Лондоне в 1975 году и специализируется с тех пор на искусстве востока ввиду того, что его учредитель, Сэм Бенади, работал в Саудовской Аравии архитектором для Короля Халида Бин Абдул Азиза. Он открыл свою первую галерею в Испании в 1978 году, на мадридской Площади Независимости (недалеко от Сотбис), где экспонировались произведения XIX века. Десять лет спустя он открыл вторую галерею, посвященную представлению и продвижению молодых фигуративных артистов.
Уже будучи ориентированной на современное искусство, ввиду потока жилого туризма, который имел место, и последующего спроса на качественное искусство, в 1995 году в Пуэрто Бану была открыта новая галерея.
Успех был таков, что через пять лет галерею пришлось перенести в более просторное помещение. 800 м2 его площади были спроектированы особым образом: это великолепная постройка из мрамора и нержавеющей стали, впечатляющие стеклянные двери позволяют созерцать произведения искусства с улицы на протяжении дня и ночи. Галерея располагает идеальной обстановкой для проведения музыкальных вечеров с известными оперными певцами, она стала обязательным для посещения местом в общественной и культурной жизни Марбельи.
Речь идет не о галерее, которая следует тенденциям, а о галерее, которая их создает, которая хорошо знает рынок, а также что вкусы и требования клиентов крайне разнообразны и охватывают область, которая начинается от экспрессионизма и сюрреализма, затрагивает фигуративный или наивный стили, и не забывает забывая о фовизме, гиперреализме и других стилях.
