To the students of San Antonio Music Academy, I would like to say that I am extremely proud of the progress you have made over this past year. This was especially evident at this past winter recital; pieces that you once thought to be impossible have now become accomplished recital pieces. I urge you to continue to create big audacious goals. These are the kind of goals truly worth working towards. Anything in life is possible if you believe it can be done and are willing to take the steps to get you there. Every journey begins with a single step, and progress cannot be sidestepped. So looking towards this next year: believe in yourself, work hard, and understand that you are special and individual - and not just in your music life.
