Grand dreams beget grand designs that requireexpert interpretation and implementation;Tsiantar Architects Limited provide thatbridge from dreaming to designing, and then

An Englishman’s home is his castle, goes the old maxim, but it doesn’t say that they all have to look the same. Expressing our individuality through our homes has alwaysbeen important to us, something George Tsiantar understands very well. He’s spent all his professional life perfecting the art of designing and building houses that reflectthe dreams, aspirations and individual identity of his clients.

of Coronation Street in Blackpool’s Sandcastle and the extension and refurbishment of Mere Golf and CountryClub. Deciding that ‘real’ building was what he reallywanted to do, George reinvigorated his practice andquickly won commissions to build luxury homes andapartments. And, that’s what he’s been concentrating onsince 1997 under Tsiantar Architects Limited.

He’s won four consecutive awards for ‘The Best LuxurySingle Dwelling’ in the North West, which is more than anyother architectural practice. His houses, all individual commissions and not built on speculative ‘off-plan’ ie builtfor a developer or client unknown, carry recognisablemarks of individuality. George attributes this to an attention to detail that is not easily replicated or found in ready-made houses.

This tailored service that is George’s hallmark, designsthe home around you and your family, elevating the property above that provided by speculative developments. The added value of the design skills provided by the sevenyears of training for the architects at Tsiantar ArchitectsLimited, supported by the construction knowledge of Architectural Technicians that make up the practice, ensure that not only can your dream home be realised butthat the potential nightmares of the construction processare avoided.

As for ‘value for money’, in the scheme of things, an architect’s fees make up a mere fraction of the cost of building a new home, yet it still intimidates clients when

they’re deciding how to proceed with their move into their‘dream’ home. Some others, perhaps through a lack of confidence and understanding, will opt for the luxury developer’s design; a ‘dream’ home that is somebody else’sidea of a ‘dream’ home, and was built with a generic everyman in mind.

Yet, in every other aspect of our lives, we value individuality and proudly proclaim our sense of self. Reinforcing that sense of self and providing a home thatwill, in every respect, promote harmony and wellbeing isexactly what George Tsiantar and his renowned practiceoffers: the opportunity to live in a home that you’ve beenintrinsically involved in designing. Every step of the way;from its appearance to its functionality, and to its relationship with you as its occupant, George encourageshis clients to become as involved in the process as theypossibly can. Guided by his professional experience andcreative eye, his clients really can realise their ambitions. And all for the same price, or less, as an off-the-peg housefrom a developer who has added in his profit margins?

George Tsiantar is a talented architect, as his portfolioand unique series of awards amply demonstrate, but hisreal gift is his ability to visualise and make real what otherscan only imagine. He perfectly embodies the marriage of science and art that all great design and architecture requires; gravity and physics are always present in anybuilding, but George hides them from view, leaving us to marvel at his beautiful buildings.

High Trees, Hale ‘George's interpretation of our needswas stunning. His hand drawing was oneof the most poignant moments of thedesign process, so when he unveiled thedrawings we didn't change a thing; webuilt the drawing!’

Winton Road, Bowdon‘We’ve worked with George and histeam for 8 years now, which has included a 7000sqft new-build Victorianstyle house with a contemporary twist. It's always a pleasure dealing with everybody at Tsiantar; we’d highly recommend them.’

The Boundary, Bowdon‘George made what could have been a very complicated and costly projectmanageable and rewarding by offeringimaginative designs and practical solutions, which created a dream homethat exceeded our expectations.’
