Field of applicationThis high-quality rock salt is used and recommended as sodium chloride feed material in human and animal nutrition from hundreds of years in the Transylvanian basin. Transylvanian salt lick blocks are suitable as feed material for all types of animal. The size and weight of the blocks, however, are designed especially for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and larger non-domesticated animals.
ProductTransylvanian salt lick blocks are produced from pure ground rock salt using a special pressing method. The blocks’ stability is the result of long-term product development and constant hardness tests. This ensures excellent weather resistance and balanced consumption by the animal.
Product useModern animal husbandry also requires optimized feeding. Healthy and well-performing animals have an advantage in fattening and sport, milk production and breeding.
