At the Contact Center • An Automatic alert from the Ingenuity CT scanner is received

• A case is opened, a post in Chatter is created to update

everyone with interest.

• Directly in the Chatter feed his mentor directs him to search the

KB. Simon uses PHC’s internal KB to easily find the relevant

<Scanner Calibration> documents and is now ready to take

action.  

• Simon collaborates with Barry, the field technician

assigned to Central Hospital, via Chatter.  Barry, who

has already seen the automated Chatter post from the

equipment, responds to Simon and begins a remote

conversation with Thomas Jones at Central Hospital

and walks Thomas through the process of calibrating

the Scanner.

• Bernd identifies the failed component remotely and alerts

Simon and Barry via Chatter. Barry responds that the

replacement part is in his inventory, and Simon dispatches

Barry to Central Hospital to replace the failed component.

 While onsite, Barry discovers that the reason the component

failed was unusual and updates the case notes accordingly,

and adds a final Chatter post alerting his colleagues of this

unique occurrence.
