27 th January 2016 ASX: PKA SALES PERFORMANCE UPDATE Plukka Limited (“Plukka” or “the Company”) is pleased to report that the Plukka business has achieved unaudited sales revenue of HK$5.2M during the half year ending 31 December 2015, up 19.4% on the same period in 2014. Online sales turnover increased by 47% over the half year ending 31 December 2015 against the same period in 2014. This increase in sales is evidence that the Plukka brand has successfully transitioned from its original flash sale business model, on which the Plukka business was founded, to its current full price, multi-designer business model which is based on the core values of creativity, exclusivity and originality. The substantial increase in online sales further indicates the growth potential for online sales of Plukka’s products. The average transaction value during December 2015 was over HK$33,000. Plukka Founder and Managing Director, Joanne Ooi, said “We are encouraged by the Company’s sales performance over the half year ending December 2015, and buoyed by the recent successful listing on ASX, sales during the all-important December holiday quarter were more than double what they were during the same period in 2014. Considering the uncertain macroeconomic climate and pronounced seasonality of our industry, this sales performance was very satisfying. The Company is well positioned to build on this performance by rolling out an aggressive marketing strategy in 2016.” Plukka will open its first boutique in Europe in Burlington Arcade, 51 Piccadilly, in February 2016, enabling it to expand its retail distribution capability to Europe for the first time. This crucial expansion increases Plukka's commercial appeal to designers and manufacturers who can now gain permanent brick and mortar exposure in not only Asia, via Plukka's Hong Kong boutique, but also London. The London and Hong Kong boutiques supplement Plukka's trunk show and pop-up activity in the United States.
