on February 26th to Kelsey & Caleb Robertson. The proud grandparents are Dan & Jill

in wisdom and stature.

Our Lenten journey begins on Ash Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30pm. At that time, we will gather for a special 30 minute service titled “Hope from the Ash-es.” Small groups meeting that night can attend & then go to their classes.

Morning Sunday School (MS/HS) 9:15-10:30am in room 219 Sunday Night— 6-8pm - Fellowship Hall Wednesday Nights—High School Group Night 6-7:30pm

Item of the Month: Children in many parts of the world are

not given the basic supplies needed for school. Mission Central

sends school kits to these children and an immediate need for

these kits are RULERS (must show inches and centimeters). Please put the rulers in

the bin marked Mission Central in Mission Corner.

ROOM CHANGE for the New Member Class Class held on March 6th (7:15pm), 10th, 24th and 31st during the 9:30 hour in room 213. If you would like to join Salem, please sign up on the Connection Card.

The United Methodist Women will meet Thursday, March 14th in room 115 6:30 pm will be the BUSINESS meeting. 7:00 pm EVERYONE is invited to hear our speaker: Tom Russell, Meteorologist from CBS 21.

Elder Care Class Being a caregiver is often a difficult, complicated, unappreciated task; but it may be one of the most important roles you will ever play. This four-week course, offered Mondays, March 4-25 from 6:30-8pm, will cover the basics: common caregiver challenges and resources; senior housing options; hiring in-home service providers and getting legal and financial affairs in order. The workshops will be facilitated by Glen Dunbar. No need to pre-register but if you would like more information call Glen Dunbar at 717-645-2375

Radical Hospitality-New Six-Week Small Group Study—YOU are invited to join the journey of exploring “radical hospitality”, through the study of The Gospel Comes with a House Key. Beginning 9:30 a.m., March 17, we will ex-plore the type of hospitality Jesus practiced. Rev. Dr. Jody Fleming will lead the study. Sign up on the Connection Card

and comedy that will make couples laugh, unwind and be encouraged to make Christ a priority in their relation-ship. Childcare is provided, a free-will offering will be

Opportunities for Evening Egg Making for Youth High-School- age youth are invited to come and help with Egg making Wednesday nights on March 13, 27; April 3 from 5 – 7 p.m. No experience necessary. The kitch-en can accommodate about 8 youth per night. Sign up on the Connection card. Questions? Contact Nancy Harshberger, [email protected].

Salem’s Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 13th from 2:30 – 4:00. All children through 5th grade are invited to participate. This year’s event will in-clude a puppet show, activities, crafts, and of course the egg hunt. Please mark on the connection card if you are interested in helping with this event. The fol-lowing supplies are needed: Candy or other prizes for the eggs, Pretzels, Hulless popcorn (already popped), Cotton balls, Googly eyes. Please place donated items in the boxes marked “Easter Egg Event” in the Mission Corner by Sunday, March 23rd. The following help is needed:
