BLOOD DRIVE Dear fellow parishioners. Once again it is that time of year when we give gifts to our loved ones in the spirit of the Magi who traveled to Bethlehem to give homage to the baby Jesus. In that spirit we are ask-

ing you to consider giving the gift of live to those in need this Christmas Season.

St. Joseph’s Blood drive will be Monday, Decem-ber 28th, in the school auditorium from 2 PM un-til 8 PM. At this time of year when everyone is out shopping or traveling to visit family, the need for blood becomes more acute.

We will sign up donors the weekends of December 19-20 and December 26-27 in the Narthex. Howev-er we always welcome walk-ins so if you are un-sure, feel free to make a last minute decision. We accept donations from healthy individuals between the ages of 16 and 75. Once you have reached your 76th birthday, a note from your doctor telling us that you are healthy enough to donate will be needed and 16 year olds will need permission from a parent. Please bring a photo ID. If you would like to volunteer to assist the team in registering and assisting donors on December 28th, please contact Dan Sudlik at [email protected] or 914-276-3125. Once again, please consider giving the gift of life and have a Holy and Happy Christmas.
