Protection of our Children
Our Parish is committed to the protection of children and
young people, which includes supporting victims of sexual
abuse. Any allegations of sexual abuse of a minor must first be
reported to the proper civil authorities. The Diocesan Victims
Assistant Coordinator, Oscar Reyes, should
be contacted afterwards at 543-9178
All bulletin, Facebook, or website posts can be submitted to
Mary Morris at [email protected]. Bulletin
deadline is 2 weeks in advance of publication.
“To live a life of faith, we need to blindfold ourselves, grab the hand of God, and move forward as His Will will leads
us; then we can truly taste the faith of the saints!” Our faith must 'see' beyond what the world presents before us.
In Christ—Dcn. Severo †

The flame symbolizes the light of Christ
that shines in the darkness.
The cross of Christ is the symbol of
Christianity.
The 5 grains of incense (formed into wax
nails) are inserted into the candle and
symbolize the five wounds of Christ
The alpha (A) and omega (Ω) are the first
and last letters of the Greek alphabet. These
letters show Christ is the beginning and end
of all things.
The year reminds us of God’s presence
right here and now. He is with us!
And this year, we
have special
decorations on the
collar to show that this is the year
of St. Joseph. “Patris Corde” is
written on the bottom and
translates to “With a Father's
Heart”. The lilies symbolize
integrity and indicate that Saint
Joseph was the earthly spouse of the Blessed Virgin
Mary, whose purity is represented by the chaste
white lily. The three flowers represent the Blessed
Trinity. The carpenter square symbolizes his occupation
and is also a symbol of accuracy and truth.
