Dear Friends,!Summer is almost officially here. Some! Parish Ministries will be! enjoying some down time during July and August. Others will continue to meet and do their good acts of stewardship. Even though we all look forward to this special season, the presence of our parish, its liturgies, and offices continue to work. Your Staff will be here for your needs and will be planning for the coming fall.!!!
Summer has many of us away at cottages, lake homes and traveling. We hope that even as the upcoming season allows us to get away we will remember to consistently support the ongoing works of our parish.! !We are grateful for Parish Finance Ministry member Brian Mikewicz for addressing the parish this weekend. Brian along with the Parish Finance Ministry hopes to communicate the importance of our financial support to Saint Catherine of Siena. Your ongoing support is acknowledged, appreciated and gratefully remembered in our prayers. If you have any questions, thoughts, inspirations or ideas please contact Maureen O'Connor, our Parish Finance Director or any member of the Finance Ministry.! Again, we are grateful for your financial!support.!!This weekend is Father's Day! With thoughts of all who are being remembered I would like to offer the following prayer.!!
Dear God,!Thank you for the gift of fatherhood. Thank you for the blessing it is to be called dad. !Thank you for the good plans you have in store for those who still wait to be a dad. !
Thank you for the numerous spiritual children you have given to so many "spiritual dads" and mentors. !We pray that you will fill this day with favor and grace as we honor Dad's all around our nation.!
!
We ask for comfort for those who are grieving loss and heartache, especially on this day. !We ask for strength for those who wait for children to come back home. !
We ask for healing for those who have been hurt by relationships that were intended to be loving and nurturing. !We ask for faith for those who will someday be dads, who find themselves on a journey that seems so hard. !
We ask for great encouragement and grace to cover those who have made a brave and loving choice for adoption. !We ask for incredible provision and care for every single parent who works so hard on behalf of his children. !
We ask that you would remind those who, though they do not have "physical" children, have the gift of being amazing hope�bringers to many spiritual children they have been blessed to nurture through the years.!

God, thank you, for the gift of life. !Thank you that your heart is for us, and that you are with us, in all our unique journeys and pathways. !
Thank you that you are Sovereign over every part of our lives. !Thank you that your ways are perfect and you make our footsteps secure.!

Today we pray for refreshing, for joy, for grace, for wisdom, for great peace…!
for all dads, for dads to be, and for men who lead and nurture.!!

LEMONADE ON THE PORCH It is almost time for LEMONADE ON THE PORCH.! We will start following the Masses the weekend of!June!23/24.!Here is how it works:! there is a Sign�up Sheet on the Bulletin Board in the Gathering Space.! If someone has volunteered, we will enjoy lemonade;! if no one has volunteered, we won’t.!It is quite easy to do.! If you can pour water into the cooler, push the cart to the Porch and serve Lemonade you are in business.! If each family or Ministry would volunteer for one Mass we can offer this service through-out the summer.!!!

�grade and higher�Guides and station! leaders are! needed to facilitate Vacation Bible !School during the above dates. This is a great Service Opportunity for those preparing for Confirmation this year.!!
Also Needed�This year’s program is in need of items and materials for decorating! the scenery.! !Outdoor type items such as camping chairs, camping! stoves, coolers, tents, tarps, small inflatable rafts, paddles, life jackets, ropes, bungee cords, backpacks, lanterns, etc. are needed to set the scene for! this adventure.! Please mark these items with your name and phone number, so they can be returned to you when VBS is done.! !
