REVISION TO THE REVISED Schedule of Lenten Services: The parish will celebrate the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts on Wednesdays* and the Akathist Hymn will be scheduled for Fridays. Both services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Due to Fr. Tom‘s schedule, Compline will not be celebrated on Mondays.

* Wednesday, March 25th, is the Feast of the Annunciation, when Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m.

* Wednesday, March 11th, the Parish Lenten Retreat will be in lieu of Presanctified Liturgy at 7:00 p.m.

2020 Parish Lenten Retreat, This Cup of Blessing That We Bless: Our Encounter with Christ, March 10 & 11, 7:00 p.m.

Donations for Akathist Flowers are still being accepted. Dedications for the first, second and last Fridays of Great Lent have already been made.

Letters acknowledging 2019 donations by parishioners were mailed out last week. Please see Fr. Tom if you have not received yours.

Weekly baking sessions for the annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale are underway. Our bakers meet Monday and Thursday mornings. Donations of flour, sugar, butter and nuts are always welcome.

The Ladies Guild and Men’s Society will meet on March 4th immediately after Presanctified Liturgy.

Parishioners requesting a remembrance at Divine Liturgy are invited to bring a framed photograph (8x10 or smaller) of their loved one for display before the iconostasis during the Liturgy. Any questions – please see Fr. Tom.

St. Anthony Church will host “Fall in Love with Danbury” on March 3, 2020 @ 6:30 p.m. Guest Speaker Brigid Guertin will share stories about Danbury’s past. Free admission.
