Travel Allowance
The taxable value of 3701 3802 and 3816 is recorded as 4582 in the IRP5 file.
From March 2019, 4582 may not be greater than 80% or less than 20% of the total of 3701,3802 and 3816.
Scenario 1:
The customer is in August and the Travel Allowance is 100% taxable
• Change the Taxability to 80% and do a Global Recalculation.
• Note: If the employees are already paid, the tax difference will have to be added to an additional tax line.

Scenario 2:
The customer is in August and the Travel Allowance is 100% taxable
• Create a new Travel Allowance Earning Definition and ensure that the tax percentage is 80%.
• Do a backdated adjust for August on the 100% taxed travel definition line and remove the YTD value.
• Do a backdated adjustment on the 80% line and add the full YTD value.
• Note: Do not change the 100% taxability, as a backdated adjustments’ taxability is calculated when the IRP5 file is exported.
