DAVITSAFEMGF COUNTER BALANCE DAVIT SYSTEMThe MGF Counter Balance Davit System consists of five individual lightweight components to enable easy transportation and installation. The Counter Balance Davit and RGA4 or AB15RT fall arrest/RGR 7 man-riding winches are connected to the free standing base. The anchoring system includes a weight rack that uses counter balance/ballast weights to provide support for a davit arm. No floor penetration is required and the complete system is modular and can be assembled in minutes providing a safe means of man-riding, fall arrest and rescue from height. The MGF Counter Balance Davit System is the ideal system for multiple entry points to various confined spaces, or for when a permanent base plate cannot be mounted.

MGF DAVIT SLEEVE CAPThe Davit Sleeve Cap is used to sit in existing mount base fittings that are not in use. The cap itself fits in the mount protecting it from damage and obstructions. This piece of kit is used when multiple davit system entries are open at once.

The T03 Rescue Tripod offers a more robust alternative to the RGR1 Rescue Tripod. The T03 Rescue Tripod has many applications such as access and rescue/retrieval from confined spaces, manholes and trenches. The Bosuns Chair is a seat suspended from a man-riding lifting machine (winch or hoist, hand operated or powered). They provide the operative a comfortable working position or means of access. Anchored above the user, it gives the user a safe area of work. The retracting line pays in and out of the device as the user moves. The RGH5 is designed for use as an access harness. The front and rear attachment points can be used as standard fall arrest points and the rescue strap can be used for lifting and lowering. When used, the rescue strap keeps the operative in a near vertical position, which is preferred when recovering an unconscious casualty. This harness is used throughout the industry in conjunction with the RGR1 Tripod and winch unit to access confined spaces, vertical shafts, sewers and silos. The RGH5 is suitable for use with fall arrest/recovery blocks RGA4 and RGR7. The harness is fully adjustable and is fitted with rip stitch indicators, for checking and inspecting.

The RGR11 Stretcher is a revolutionary design which provides security and protection for injured persons. The stretcher comes equipped for hoisting by davits in horizontal position or hoisting in vertical position in industrial confined spaces. When the injured person is packaged, the stretcher becomes rigid. The durable plastic provides protection for the injured person while allowing extrication through the most demanding confined spaces.

The Gazelle Basket Stretcher is designed to provide a cost effective alternative to high-end titanium baskets whilst offering the same durability. The gazelle series basket stretchers feature an all-carbon-steel, MIG welded frame construction. The stretcher relies on frame geometry, construction methods and materials for ultimate strength. SAFETY LANYARDSRGL1 WEBBING LANYARD WITH SHOCK PACKThe RGL1 is supplied in two standard lengths 1.3m and 1.8m. The RGL1 lanyard is an industry standard, and normally the minimum equipment issued with a harness for working at height. The RGL1 is manufactured using 40kN polyester webbing which helps give the product a longer life.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL3 TWIN LEG WEBBING LANYARD WITH SHOCK PACK

The RGL3 is a twin leg lanyard with the same specifications as the RGL1. The extra leg allows movement between anchorage points by means of double clipping. This system is generally used for tower climbing, steel erecting, scaffolding and maintenance on open structures. When used in conjunction with two Girder Slings (RGK26), the RGL3 can be used as a means of progression through suitable structures where no fixed lifeline or eyebolts are available. The RGL3 is manufactured using 40kN webbing which provides greater strength, wear and shear resistance compared to other webbing.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL12 ADJUSTABLE RESTRAINT LANYARDThe RGL12 is an adjustable restraint lanyard, and various lengths are available to act as a leash for an operative working at height. The adjustability of the product ensures that the correct length can be selected for the task in hand. It is important to understand the principles of fall restraint as the RGL12 can only be used for fall restraint. There is no shock absorption built into the system.

SAFETY LANYARDS

The RGL5 Restraint Lanyard acts as a leash for working at height. The RGL5 can only be used for fall restraint because there is no shock absorption built into the system. If there is any possibility of falling over an exposed edge, or falling through a fragile surface, a fall arrest product should be used.

The RGL2 12mm Kernmantle Rope Lanyard is supplied up to a maximum overall length of 1.5m including Karabiners. It is an industry standard, and normally the minimum equipment issued with a harness for working at height. 37kN polyester webbing is used to manufacture the lanyard which helps give the product exceptional strength and a longer life. It is also treated with a water repellent coating which also extends the life of this product.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL2 12MM KERNMANTLE ROPE LANYARD

ROPES AND ROPE GRABSRGA10 ROPE GRAB

The RGA10 is designed to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to operatives ascending/descending a ladder or structure. This version of the rope grab is for use with 16mm hawser laid rope only. This unit comes standard with a shock pack fitted and cannot be removed, however due to the gate opening method of attachment, the RGA10 offers positive closure and good camming action.

The locking cam on this device is toothed and arrests well on the hawser laid rope. When used in conjunction with the RGA10R hawser laid rope, the RGA10 provides excellent protection as a vertical fall protection system, normally used in heavy industrial areas where fouling and debris will be transferred to the rope.

In use, it is recommended that slight tension is placed on the rope to aid movement, as with all highly flexible systems. In working conditions it is usual to provide additional fall protection equipment to protect the user when detaching from the device at height.

ROPES AND ROPE GRABSRGA12 ROPE GRABDesigned to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to operatives ascending/descending a ladder or structure, and is for use with 11mm Kernmantle rope only. When used by itself, it should be connected directly to the chest attachment of a compatible harness via a Karabiner. This ensures that the user is held close to the structure and, in the event of a slip, the fall distance and loading on the top anchor is minimal.
