Previous knowledgePupils had been taught about rules in their school. They have learned some safety rules likes queue up and walk when buy food at the canteen, use the zebra crossing to cross the read, never talk to the strangers, do not push and run up or down the stairs and etc.

Learning outcomesBy the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :-

1. listen to the jazz chant and able to enjoy and chant with correct stress, intonation and rhythm .2. perform the chant based on the jazz chant. 3. match the pictures of rule sign with correct descriptions. 4. create safety signs stick .

1. Introduction about the safety rules using short video clip. 2. Brainstorm on some rules in the classroom that they already agreed with the teacher before. 3. Pupils name the rules from the video shown.

1. Teacher distribute the materials to the pupils (safety rules sign template, colour pencil, colourful foam paper, kabob sticks and tape) 2. Colour the picture of safety rule sign and paste it on the foam paper, then cut the shapes out using a pair of scissors. 3. Attach the nice sign to a kabob stick.4. remind the pupils to cut off the sharp point of the kabob sticks 5. Next, attach the kabob sticks to the back of their safety rule sign shape with a piece of tape 6. Its done .
