Trg Regular stock take & equipment check to ensure serviceability of equipment

Trg & Comp Mandatory use of protective gear if specific sports require them. E.g. shin guards for all hockey players


Environment & Facilities

For outdoor venues, a safety plan is necessary to determine the commencement of the activity pending incremental weather conditions

Conduct regular checks to ensure that facilities (e.g. goalposts & courts) meet safety specifications & are well-maintained


Medical Support & Coverage

Trg & Comp Develop a safety plan that includes sufficient deployment of qualified 1st aid personnel & equipment

Personnel-in-charge

Ensure duty personnel have valid 1st aid certification

Participating schools are to ensure that coaches hired have relevant qualification & sufficient competency

Awareness & Compliance

Conduct enhanced RAMS at least twice a year for 6 identified sports (before beginning of competitions)

Conduct safety briefing for students before commencement of activity
