Actions since last Board Briefing Funding:

ARCF is budgeted for $6.08M this year Natomas PAC:

Activities on Natomas on hold pending project authorization ARCF GRR:

The Corps is implementing a new process for investigation studies called Planning Modernization. It limits study cost to $3M dollars and requires them to be completed in no more that 3 years. The GRR comply with the spirit of the new process, which may impact review times

WRDA 1996 & 1999 Project Sites:

Pioneer reservoir turnover on track for turn over this year. Plans and specifications for construction contract awards are on schedule

Cooperation with SAFCA & CVFPB Natomas PAC: The Corps continues to stand by for authorization of the work identified in the

Natomas PAC report that has been with Congress since May 2011. The team is ready to react immediately when authorization is obtained and appropriations are provided

ARCF GRR: The collaboration with the sponsors continues on GRR activities On 15 Feb a workshop with the partners was held to discuss the results of the

Corps In-Progress-Review held on 7 & 8 Feb.

Team refining preliminary designs on alternatives and compiling draft report Sponsors preparing a Local Preferred Plan (LPP)

Chief’s Report scheduled for March 2014.

ARCF WRDA 96 & 99 Project Sites: Design for last 5 sites are underway

Project turn over in 2012 for 4 completed WRDA sites are complete ► The Pioneer Reservoir Project, will be turn over in spring 2013 ► Remaining completed WRDA projects are on target for turn over in 2013

► Real estate certification for FY13 projects in June 2013 • All take packages have been submitted to the State of CA. • Right of Entry for data collection impacting P&S completion

► P&S completion in spring FY13

► Environmental document approvals by July 2013
