Lee graduated from The University of Sydney in 1992 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. After 2 years in rural veterinary practice in northern NSW, Australia she undertook a 3-year residency programme in Theriog- enology at the University of Guelph in Canada during which time she also became a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists in 1997, and then graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Science in 1998. Her DVSc thesis work encompassed in vitro studies (IVF) on the production of embryos and the assessment of male fertility. From 1998 to 2001 Lee was employed as the Senior Veterinary Research Scientist at the Equine Fer- tility Unit in Newmarket (UK) where she worked with Professor Twink Allen and developed the hysteroscopic (low dose) insemination procedure for horses. In 2001 Lee was the Senior Registrar at The University of Sydney from where she provided clinical reproductive services for horses and dogs and conducted research into sex-sorted semen. Lee has been in New Zealand since 2002 and is now the Specialist Equine Reproduction veterinarian at EquiBreed NZ Ltd. In 2004, she became a Registered Specialist in Veterinary Reproduction in Australasia. Her special interests include artificial insemi- nation (AI), embryo transfer (ET), epididymal spermatozoa, hysteroscopy, equine laparoscopy, semen freezing technology, sex-sorted semen and chal- lenging cases of mare or stallion infertility. Lee provides referral consultancy services to equine vet clinics in New Zealand and Australia. In 2004, Lee was elected onto the committee for the International Sympo- sium of Equine Reproduction (ISER) and in 2014 she was the local Chairper- son for the ISER XI in 2014 in Hamilton, NZ. Lee has been an Honorary Associate of The University of Sydney (Australia) and an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Waikato (NZ) in recogni- tion of her contribution to research. 1. EXHIBITION SPACE: The cost of each exhibition space includes one table, two chairs. Exhibits shall be so arranged as not to obstruct the general view, nor hide the exhibits of others. No gazebo’s allowed. No banners outside of allocated stand allowed. Bring your own extention cord to connect to electrical outlets.

2. The Exhibitor is solely and fully responsible for its own exhibit material and stand contents, and should insure its exhibit against loss or damage from any cause whatsoever. All property of the Exhibitor is understood to remain in its care, custody and control in transit to or from within the confines of the exhibit hall.

3. LIABILITY: Upon approval of this contract by an authorized Exhibitor representative, it is expressly understood that the Exhibitor has read and agrees to abide by the SAEVA/VETLINK liability policies outlined below. SAEVA/VETLINK, and all organizations and individuals who are employed by or associated with it, in connection with this Exhibition, will not assume responsibility and shall be held harmless by all Exhibitors for damage or loss resulting from fire,theft, or any other cause whatsoever, including accident or injury to exhibitors, their employees and agents, the public, or others. The Exhibitor agrees to pay promptly for any and all damages to the exhibition building or its equipment incurred through carelessness or otherwise, of Exhibitor or its employees or agents.

4. INSURANCE: SAEVA or VETLINK or the venue does not maintain insurance covering EXHIBITOR’S property or employees. It is the sole responsibility of the EXHIBITOR to obtain public liability insurance, business interruption insurance, property damage insurance, and workers’ compensation insurance covering and protecting EXHIBITOR against all such losses as referenced in these Guidelines.

5. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: a Non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 25% is due at least 10 days from the date this signed agreement is received by Vetlink to reserve your exhibition space. The balance must be paid on or before 2 weeks before the event. If the balance due is not paid on or before this date, the conference organiser reserves the right, without further notice, to reduce or release said space to other exhibitors. No space will be reserved or assigned unless both the deposit and signed contract are received.

6. ALCOHOL SERVING AND CONSUMPTION: Exhibitors are not permitted to serve alcohol from and/or within the confines of their booth space nor within the exhibition hall, without written permission from the conference organisers and a signed service agreement.

7. CANCELLATION / SPACE REDUCTION: Any cancellation, space reduction requests, or requests for changes of this contract must be made in writing and forwarded to the organisers at PO Box 232, Groenkloof, SOUTH AFRICA, 0182 or [email protected]. Cancellations or space reductions will be subject to charges according to the following schedule:• More than three months before conference start date – Eligible for full refund.• More than 60 days and less than three months

before conference start date – Deposit forfeited; excess of deposit paid will be refunded in full.• 60 days and less before conference start date – Full amount of fee is due. In the event of cancellation or reduction of contracted space, and subject to the above cancellation charges schedule, SAEVA/VETLINK shall retain the right to resell cancelled space without rebate or allowance to the Exhibitor

8. AMENDMENT TO RULES: SAEVA/VETLINK reserves the right to interpret, amend and enforce these 8. TERMINATION OF EXHIBITIONIn the event that the premises in which the Exhibition is or is to be conducted shall become, in the sole discretion of SAEVA/VETLINK, unfitfor occupancy, or in the event the holding of the Exhibition or the performance of SAEVA/VETLINK under the Exhibit Reservation Contract (of which these Rules and Regulations are a part) are substantially or materially interfered with by virtue of any cause or causes not reasonably within the control of SAEVA/VETLINK, said Contract and/or the Exhibition (or any part thereof) may be terminated by SAEVA/VETLINK. SAEVA/VETLINK shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased costs, or other unfavourable conditions arising by virtue of cause or causes not reasonably within the control of SAEVA/VETLINK. If SAEVA/VETLINK terminates said Contract and/or the Exhibition (or any part thereof) as aforesaid, then SAEVA/VETLINK (or its representatives) shall not be liable to the Exhibitor other than for a prorated refund of such Exhibitor’s space price payment determined on the basis of the number of Exhibition days remaining. For purposes hereof, the phrase “cause or causes not reasonably within the control of SAEVA/VETLINK” shall include, but not by way of limitation: fire,casualty, flood,epidemic, earthquake or inclement weather; explosion or accident; blockade or embargo; governmental restraints; restraints or orders of civil defence or military authorities; terrorism or threat of terrorism, act of public enemy, riot, or civil disturbance; strike, lockout, boycott, or other labour disturbance; inability to secure sufficientlabour, technical, or other personnel; failure, impairment, or lack of adequate transportation facilities; inability to obtain, or condemnation, requisition, or commandeering of necessary supplies or equipment; local, state, or Federal law, ordinances, rule, order decree, or regulation, whether legislative, executive, or judicial, and whether constitutional or unconstitutional; or Acts of God rules as it deems proper to assure the success of the Exhibition

SAEVA/VETLINK reserves the right to prohibit any exhibit, part thereof, or proposed exhibit that, in its EXHIBITION RULES & REGULATIONS: opinion, is not suitable or in keeping with intentions and/or purposes of the organization.
