2. WHAT WE DO 2.1 SCOPE OF WORK 2.1.1 Design of spread mooring system

• The spread mooring system shall be designed according to DNV-OS-E301 for the 100

year return condition case for the Ultimate Limit State condition.

2.1.2 Motion analysis of the moored FPSO

• The envelop for static and dynamic offsets for some characteristic points of the Vessel

(loading arm, seawater discharge location, feed gas location etc…) and to verify that

its value is within tolerance levels.

• The motions at the center of gravity for preliminary topside design purposes

• The vertical motion of the vessel to check acceptable minimum bottom clearance

• The location of the mooring line touchdown point in order to estimate interference with

existing infrastructures (only for 1 year return period)

• The objective of selecting the mooring components will be based on the results of

mooring analysis and certain input during the mooring analysis from a reputed

mooring hardware vendor.

• During the final stages of mooring analysis, we will select the mooring components and

get the costing worked out with a single vendor to come up with a Capex planning.
