We ask parents to help communicate with the grandparents the details to help the day run smoothly. We have a VERY FULL HOUSE coming! Seating in the church will be at capacity and we will overflow to the church basement. Since there will be very little extra space in the church, we are asking parents to let this be a special day for your children with their grandparents or other special person. You are welcome to attend if you need to help transport or accommodate grandparents. Have a good week! Mrs. FrederickThought of the Week: “Don’t cheat the world of your contribution. Blessing of Animals

It is traditional to have a blessing of animals during October in many European and American parishes. This is because of the feast of St. Francis October 4th. We will have this blessing and a short prayer service on Sunday, October 6th at 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot (by the garage). You may bring either your pet or a picture of your pet.

Bruno Bytes:

1) Msgr. Duane blessed Bibles given to every 5th grade student from the Knights of Columbus last week. This is an annual tradition that the fifth graders love!

2) Students were in a race to complete virtue puzzle posters at Bruno Wrap Up last Thursday

3) Mrs. Schoenberger announced it is time again to "Stuff the Cart" full of personal care items for the Sun Prairie Food Pantry during the month of October. Let's help those in need in our community!

2020 Raffle Calendars In two weeks, families will be receiving 10 raffle tickets to sell for $25 each in their Family Envelope. It is up to individual families if they want to sell the calendar raffle tickets to family and friends, buy them out, or make a donation in lieu of selling the tickets (or a combination of those options). Anyone who purchases a raffle ticket gives them a chance in the drawing to win a $50 cash prize each

weekday of 2020, with a special Christmas drawing of $250! Raffle tickets are put back into the drawing so individuals can win multiple times in a year. Making a donation in lieu of buying a raffle ticket is considered a tax-deductible donation and donors will receive a tax donation letter by mid-January. Any family wishing to make a donation instead of purchasing a ticket can return any unused tickets to the school office. There are extra tickets available in the office and parish center for those wishing to sell more than ten. This is a critical fundraiser for the school, one which helps close the gap between what we charge in tuition and what it costs to educate each child (an average cost of $250 per child). Without this fundraiser, we would have to raises the cost of tuition, so every K-8 family is highly encouraged to participate. 4K families have the option to participate too! More information will be coming home with the tickets in October. Mark Your Calendars!

Our annual parent & staff Trivia Night and Social will be on Friday, November 8th. More information is coming soon!
