Congratulations to our Kindergarten student, Tristan Duplaga, on winning the State Wide Zaner Bloser Handwriting Contest for Private Schools! Tristan won a beautiful medallion and the chance to compete in the National Contest. His teacher, Mrs. Cindy Cantwell, was given a beautiful paperweight, and the

school won a $200 Gift Certificate from Zaner Bloser. We are proud of Tristan and celebrated his honor during the Monday Morning Show. Afterwards, the entire school applauded him as he walked back to his classroom with his teacher! If you haven't thought about enrolling your family in your parish school, maybe it's time you did! Full-Time Position Available at Sacred Heart School Physical Education Teacher for 3K – 5th grade: Desirable person would be degreed with Elementary certification and capable of planning healthy and creative activities for students on a weekly basis incorporating exercise, President’s Physical Challenge requirements, co-ed sports, and health/wellness curriculum. Paid Part-time Positions available at Sacred Heart School Elementary school bus driver: 4 hours daily, Mon-Friday, occasional field trips. Excellent equipment. Must be licensed, have a clean driving record, be up-to-date on all requirements of Texas School Bus drivers. Position begins in August. Choir Director: 2-3 hours per week. Great opportunity for person with musical/singing experience. Lead elementary student’s choir practice on Tuesday mornings 8:00-9:00, direct children’s choir during Friday Mass 8:00 – 9:00, and serve as Music teacher for all 3K-5th graders. Spanish Teacher: 5-6 hours, 1 day per week. College degreed applicant capable of teaching elementary Spanish to grades K-5. All successful applicants must pass background check and drug screening, provide strong references, and complete our mandato-ry one hour safe school environment training class. Come by 111 N.
