20th anniversary tour!In the 2021-22 season, the Sacconi will celebrate their 20th anniversary (with their four foundermembers), with a worldwide tour of at least 20 concerts.

guest composer: jonathan dove cbeThe Sacconi are thrilled that renowned English composer Jonathan Dove CBE will be writing a new string quartet especially for theiranniversary, to be premiered at Wigmore Hall. One of the mostsuccessful and consistently explored contemporary composers of the 21st Century, Jonathan Dove’s music delights audiences from around the world.

The Sacconi have a special relationship with Jonathan; in 2017 they released a critically-acclaimed Dove album featuring his new cantata ‘In Damascus’.
