SABINE BECK
Being a German interior architect, Sabine joined Hirsch Bedner
Associates Singapore in March 2006. She completed her
studies in Germany and France with very good results and has
a profound and thorough formation covering a wide field of
architecture and interior design. Being creative and enthusiastic
about design and architecture, she understands every project
as being unique and needing to be approached differently.
Integrating planning, design and construction in every project is
essential to develop sophisticated and innovative design.
Having international working experience and knowing about
design and development in Europe as well as in Asia, she is
involved in all levels of the design and construction process in
local and abroad projects.

With his over 20 years of working experience in hospitality and retail industry abroad, Numer is a well oriented, culturally sensitive designer who can appreciate and resolve the scope of challenges that working on international projects present. Numer has worked on a wide variety of high-profile projects throughout Asia.
SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNERMagdalena Onisko
Magdalena joined HBA Singapore in 2013 as a qualified Senior Designer, having worked on a variety of hotel projects in urban and resort settings, also high-end residential and commercial sector. Her 10 years of international experience in Interior Architecture and FFE, and highly creative approach to design makes her a valuable member of the team.
FFE SPECIALIST Helen Tsui
With a decade of furniture and luxury hospitality interior design experience throughout Asia, Helen has built a continuous working rapport with key international hotel brands, trade consultants and global clients. Her multi-cultural background provides a sophisticated touch to her design vocabulary with a subtle local finesse. Her eye for detail, passion for high level design and great collaborative skillset create holistic and unique properties all over the global map.

Tiffany is a team player with good bilingual communication skills and academic qualifications, enabling her to grow good relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are being met. She handles difficult and stressful situations with integrity.

St. Regis Lijiang is a luxury complex in the historic area of Lijiang comprising of a resort and high end residential villas
Situated amidst a spectacular paradise of untouched
nature and rich ancient culture, the new St. Regis
Lijiang resort will beautifully complement its stunning
surroundings.
The HBA team was asked to design three private
residential villas under the St. Regis brand as well as
the complete resort including all guestrooms, villas,
public areas with F&B, spa and convention facilities.

With 300 hotel rooms and 170 apartments, the 5 star hotel sets a new benchmark of luxury in Jakarta
A new five star hotel property in Jakarta’s south,
the project is set to give a new meaning to luxury in
Indonesia.
A flagship property for the brand, the team was tasked
to design all guestrooms and public areas of the hotel
including lobbies, F&B outlets, spa and a new concept
of meeting and banqueting facilities.

Inspired by its neighbourhood, this boutique hotel is a vibrant combination of local elements
Being situated on wireless road, the location of
Bangkok’s first radio tower, the hotel’s design is
strongly inspired by the history of radio and music.
References to the era of radio can be found in different
variations all throughout and create a sense of surprise
and discovery for the guests.
Other hints telling the neighbourhoodstory have been
integrated in form of urban sky gardens along the
open air guest corridors as well as bold and colorful
elements refering to the historic silk production
centers near the hotel’s location.

Situated in the deep rainforests of Borneo, this resort is a charming oasis of relaxation
The team was asked to design for the renovation of the
existing resort with rebranding to a Marriott operated
property.
Situated along a river in the middle of the rainforest,
the team created a resort that is in balance with its
calming and relaxing environment.
Traditional architecture of individual blocks built on
stilts and public areas covered by tall pitched roofs
open to fresh air were refreshed by a mix of furniture
in resort and Asian heritage style. A sophisticated
colour palette provides a fresh accent as it picks up the
colours of the surrounding nature.

CONTEMPORARY HOTELHOTEL , HONGQIAO, CHINA
A contemporary dynamic hotel at Shanghai’s new transportation hub Hongqiao
Set to be a refreshing place of modern elegance, the
hotel is a new development at the upcoming major
transporation hub at Hongqiao. HBA designed the 400
guestrooms including suites, spa, meeting facitlities,
Chinese restaurant and club lounge.
References to its location near Shanghai’s major
domestic airport and railway station have been
incorporated into the design in an elegant way and
provide a sense of place while offering comfort and
luxury.

A contemporary interpretation of Chengdu’s famous scenery combined with elements of its rich art scene
A dreamlike lobby interior is created with elements
inspired by the surreal beauty of Chengdu’s
moutainous landscape. Contemporary in architectural
language and furnishings, the outcome is suitable
to its location in Chengdu’s high end fashion and
shopping district and will set a benchmark for future
properties.
HBA was asked to design the lobby, spa and meeting
facilities as well as lounges for hotel and serviced
apartments in this project.
