History

Saatchi and Saatchi was founded by two brothers Maurice (Lord Saatchi) and art collector Charles in 1970. Saatchi and Saatchi was first born in London 1967 (Headquarters of Saatchi and Saatchi is still in London) as the creative consultancy CramerSaatchi. Charles's younger brother Maurice joined the business in 1970 and was renamed "Saatchi and Saatchi" and developed into a full-service advertising agency.

AwardsBecause of the quality of adverts Saatchi and Saatchi produce, the network has always been a prolific award-winner. In the last five years they have won over 4,000 awards. Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2014

At the Cannes Lions Festival 2014, Saatchi & Saatchi was awarded a total of 32 Lions – 6 Gold, 12 Silver and 14 Bronze.Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi were awarded 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze for ‘Almost Identical’ for Beldent.2 Gold and 3 Silver went to Saatchi & Saatchi Italy, for its ‘Dear Future Mom’ campaign for Coordown.Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand were awarded Gold and Bronze for two campaigns for Tui ‘Catch A Million’ and ‘Beer Plumber’.Other Silver Lions were awarded to our offices in Australia, USA/Conill and Mexico.

And there were Bronze Lions for Philippines, Serbia, USA/New York and Puerto Rico.

Products They Have Worked On

Saatchi & Saatchi are a very high end advertising company and have created adverts for many well known brands. These include :• Toyota• Carlsberg• Weight Watchers• Head and Shoulders• Ford• E.c.t.

They also produced campaign adverts like anti-bullying adverts and even produced a poster for the conservative party “Labour Isn't working” for the 1979 general election and created a very powetful message

Toyota Invisible Car Advert: Analysis

In this advert Toyota with Saatchi & Saatchi are advertising the new 2016 Toyota Tacoma in the advert “Invisible Truck”. In the advert the truck is being shown off with its capabilities off road. However it is invisible and you con only see the huge dust clouds it leaves showing the audience the power it has. It is then revealed like a monster/animal at the end of the advert showing it as a beast.

In the Advert there is no music, only the sounds the car makes, the incredible sound it makes shows again the immense power this vehicle must have and how powerful it is and at the end there is a roar showing hats its not just a vehicle its this sort of animal

This advert is more focused to men who want power and thrills. It is shown to be like an animal and men will want it because they want the most powerful car as it is manly. Also the fact the man driving gets out with a helmet show the audience how powerful it is by showing its dangerous. It is also targeted for people looking for adventure as its shown to be off road going through the desert

At the end there is a message “The Beast Is Revealed” and then the slogan “Lets Go Places” these two sentences show the audience that this truck is almost something to fear as it is called a beast and how powerful it is. The second sentence tells the audience how this vehicles will let you adventure and go places.
