Realize all of the planning, configuration, and building

The Realize Phase is the longest phase in which we configure,

test, iterate and test again. Performance testing, System testing,

and User Acceptance testing happens during this phase for

many business processes. The primary systems used are Dev

and QA. Once User Acceptance testing passes for a given

process, we gain organizational alignment for what will be

delivered for the deployment. As well as processes that need to

occur before going live.

Design Driven Development - Custom Software

Design Driven Development is an innovative way to gather app requirements, and rapidly build a better solution by incorporating user feedback earlier during design.

• Users are engaged to empathize with the problem to be solved

• The problem is refined enough to allow the design team to target the right users

• The team generates ideas, and the best parts are added to a prototype

• The prototype simulates interaction with a real application

• The User Experience is captured and, turned into business requirements by a Product Owner

What is a Product Owner?

Product Owner - The person who is in charge of representing the importance of a piece of custom functionality that is a gap

• Participate in design and delivery of a product

• They are to clearly express functionality of the resulting product, represented in a Product Backlog

• Prioritizing features in the Product Backlog to best achieve MVP and timeline goals

• Ensuring the work the Development Team performs is the most valuable

• Ensuring the Development Team understands what is acceptable for a user

Deploy MVP and Subsequent Versions to Production

Deploying the finished product should be well planned out, and establish timelines for a real go live.It is recommended that deployment teams rehearse 2-3 times before actually going live. This includes user training and cutover activities as well
