God LovesAll The

Children OfOur World

Looking Ahead With Hope

The season of Lent has helped us imagine and understand what our faith community requires in order to be useful to our common human hope for a world healed and made new. We are invited to live not by creeds and doctrines but by faith. Faith being an active trust in the good outcomes that follow from our determination to make a difference in the world. This difference begins in our hearts, moves out into our close relations and spreads into the whole wide world.

These words are presented as an invitation. In the next while you will have opportunity to share your hopes and dreams concerning the future of our faith community. You are encouraged to take personal time for thinking about what you have to offer as a gift to us all. On the basis of that thinking you will become able to share and your insights and ideas looking to our shared future.

There are many things calling for your attention and involvement. Hopefully, active participation in our faith community is near the top of your priority list.
