Company BackgroundOver twelve years ago, FLAVORx was founded on the simple idea that the taste of medicine should never come between your child and their good health. It started at our small community pharmacy with one flavor, Banana, developed for a child having serious difficulty taking anti-seizure medication. In the decade+ since FLAVORx was first inspired to take on the mission of increasing medication adherence, we’ve added many new flavors and now provide pharmacies with flavoring recipes for not just one drug, but hundreds of them including over-the-counter medicine.

Product Overview Pill Glide builds on FLAVORx’s longstanding mission of improving peoples lives by making “medicine-time” a positive experience. The original flavoring system was only for liquid medication. With Pill Glide, we have expanded our original idea and focused towards other dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. Studies show that over 40% of adults have some difficulty swallowing their medicine due to the size, taste, or smell of the tablets and capsules. Pill Glide helps overcome these hurdles by combining five of FLAVORx’s top flavors with a special formulation that allows pills to glide down your throat.
