2016 Can Am Spyder RT Ltd 133030 1980 On OverseasBike Details: This is my second Can Am Spyder RT Ltd, I owned my first from 2014 to 2017 and whilst that

model looked exactly the same, it only had a twin-cylinder 998cc engine.I've owned this one since July 2017. I've done 9k miles and it has a three-cylinder, 1330cc engine. It has a 6.9 gallon tank and does about 40mpg.This is my only mode of transport and I ride it pretty much every day. The "bikes" as owners call them are built by a company called BRP based in Canada. They are popular in the USA (about 77,000), Europe and the UK, where there's about 700.There are only four dealers in the UK, being a niche market there are limited numbers of second-hand bikes available, but they're out there. My wife and I toured Scotland last year for several weeks. On average it can take about 500 miles to get used to riding the Spyder. Cornering is interesting as the rider has to lean, much the same as a bike, into corners to keep the weight over the inside wheel. The main attraction, at the time, was the benefit of having two-wheels at the front and one at the back. I don't drive and wanted to take my wife on holidays. The Spyder was the answer. Especially with all the built in storage available.
