SI units can be modularly extended up to 4 poles, mechanically connected. Each pole can be NO or NC

Each pole can carry 4 different types of arc chutes, differentiated by voltage rating (size & shape of arc chute) and material of the arc extinguishing parts (plastic / ceramic). Compared to plastic, ceramic arc chutes offer a higher maximum breaking performance and longer durability

The side magnetic blow out plates are sized according to the type of arc chute selected

The arc chutes can be removed from and plugged back onto the poles without tools for easy tips inspection and replacement

Main Poles are available with Indirect blow out, where the blow out coil is fed only during arcing and contactlessly activated by the arc itself. Fully proven bidirectionality, it avoids critical currents in any current direction.

The SI line poles are available alternatively as Normally Open or Normally Closed contacts, with the same mechanical movement of the actuating hinge.

Different types of poles can therefore be combined side by side in a single container, creating NO/NC combinations, that can be used as Change Overs contacts, with a Break Before Make contacting sequence.

SI line poles can be activated in 2 different ways:

1. Single Coil, monostable, with electronic drive 2. Double Coil, bistable, with latch, 0W hold-in, coil 1 closes, coil 2 opens, on-load switching

SI poles terminal can be configured in 8 different shapes, allowing vertical plane („wall“) or horizontal plane („floor“) fixing without changing the pole orientation and its dynamic behaviour, i.e. without any setting or hardware difference in the poles.
