Various seeding rates can be obtained by turning the dual sprocket over. The easy drive system assures a consistent flow of seed. The rear roller is spring loaded to keep in constant contact with the ground, promoting healthy "seed-to-soil" contact.

Our 20 Series Primary Seeders have the capability of planting almost any type of seed. With the main native grass seedbox, a small seeds box and a grass/grain seed box, the seeder is extremely versatile.

The picker wheel feed design is aggressive enough to feed fluffy, native grass blends like Big Blue Stem, Indian Grass, and Side Oats Grama. This box comes standard with an agitator to keep seed moving toward the picker wheel, and to avoid bridging.

Fluted seed cups meter the desired amount of seed every time. Seed cups are driven off the front roller. (pictured at top of page)

Land Pride's 'seeding package' is a unique blend of products that work well by themselves, and compliment each other when used together with a Land Pride Disc Harrow. This package is ideal for large grassy areas, reclamation sites, or wild game food plots.

• Seed Bed Roller – this is an excellent finishing tool with applications from roadside use to landscaping. The SBR will break up clumps and dirt clods while pressing seed into the soil for seed to soil contact.

• ElectricSpinSpreader– our Spin Spreader is easily calculated for a host of seed types, many of which we have put into a seed calculation chart for you. Electrically turn on and off from your tractor or vehicle seat.

• DragHarrow– our Drag Harrow has light, medium and aggressive applications, simply by turning the harrow in different positions. Perfect for dragging a sports field or smoothing out recently cultivated ground.

The seeder that does it all.While seeding into a freshly prepared site, the front angling rollers help cut through the top crust, kicking up a light amount of soil, making sure the ground is soft. The seed is then dropped, and compressed by the rear roller. Establishing this initial seed to soil contact is essential in achieving a high rate of germination.

Seedbox – The all welded seedbox and watertight lid helps keep the elements out and your seed dry. The seedbox also has a seed splashplate to keep seed out of the hinge area of the lid. A paddle type agitator in the seedbox helps to keep seed from bridging, and allowing an uninterrupted flow to the seed cups. At one bushel per foot, the capacity is just right for the diverse jobs this seeder can tackle.

Seed cups – We've been using our seed cups on seeders and grain drills for many years. This cup is the standard of the seeding industry, and you can easily see why when you look at the fluted metering device and see how it grabs the same amount of seed all of the time. This results in excellent accuracy, and money saving efficiency.

Rollers – The two front spiked rollers can be angled to the desired "crabbing" action you desire. The greater the angle, the greater the agitation will be to the soil or turf, creating an ideal seed to soil environment.

With the optional small seeds box added to the APS, this seeder can go from the backyard to the closest food plot. A wide range of seeds can be metered through both boxes, making this a very diversified seeder.

Slit SeedingThe optional Slit Seeding Attachment guides seed into open soil slits. The seed hoses can be easily switched for broadcast seeding or slit seeding. In both applications, the seed is shielded from the wind.

Choice of Knives(A) Straight, aggressive 3/16" thick knives prepare the soil by pulling up thatch, while (B) 10 gauge curved knives provide a minimum of surface disturbance.

Small Seedbox – When the optional small seeds box is used, two seeds can be metered at one time into the same seed tube for even distribution.

The gauge wheel model features 18" turf tread tires which regulate the seeding depth. The seed cups are driven off of the right hand gauge wheel, which is spring loaded to stay in contact with the ground.

Front Roller – An optional front full width roller is recommended on rear roller drive units. The front roller keeps planting depth consistent without relying solely on the tractor's 3-point. The seed cups are driven off of the rear roller, which is always in contact with the ground.
