TRANSCRIPT

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues have been front of mind through the course of the

pandemic. As standards setters converge and governments around the globe take steps to strengthen,

and, in some cases, mandate disclosure and more sustainable practices it’s a clear signal that we cannot

afford to revert to business as usual.

Beyond climate, corporates and investors are under increasing pressure to consider the full spectrum of

ESG issues. Additionally, the evolving consensus on corporate purpose highlights that the ‘S’ of ESG is

not just an ethical and moral consideration, but a financial and business imperative.

The annual Responsible Business conference will convene global leaders, C-suite executives,

sustainability professionals, and policymakers in London on 3 March 2022. Join lively discussions

on how to mainstream ESG matters into meaningful decision-making and engage with your peers on

what it will take for responsible and resilient businesses to truly succeed in the long-term.

On the agenda:

Human rights

Sustainable finance
