COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF THE SERIES • Georgia Southern and Arkansas State have split the only two games played in the series. Georgia Southern beat the Red Wolves 48-21 in the 1986 NCAA I-AA national championship game in Tacoma, Washington, but A-State rallied for a 27-26 win last season at home over GS. Tracy Ham, now an associate AD for internal operations at GS, rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns and completed 12-of-21 passes for 306 yards and another score to lead the Eagles to their second consecutive I-AA national championship. • Against the nation’s top-rated I-AA defense, Georgia Southern gained 603 yards in total offense, 297 rushing and 306 passing. • With the win, Georgia Southern became the first school to ever win back-to-back national championships in Division I-AA. • A-State got a measure of revenge last year, winning in Jonesboro to tie the series up. The Red Wolves trailed 23-10 with just over two minutes remaining in the third quarter, but Justice Hansen hit Omar Bayless with an 8-yard touchdown pass with nine seconds left, and J.D. Houston made the extra point to lift Arkansas State to a 27-26 Sun Belt Conference football victory. HOME OPENERS • Overall, the Eagles are 27-6-1 in home openers with a 27-5 mark at Paulson Stadium since its first game on Sept. 29, 1984 against Liberty. The 2013 home opener, a 77-9 win over Savannah State, was vacated due to NCAA sanctions. FINALLY HOME • With Hurricane Irma bearing down on Florida and Georgia, GS and New Hampshire agreed to move their game on Sept. 9 from Statesboro to Birmingham’s Legion Field. • With the move, Georgia Southern will now just have four home games this season at Paulson Stadium, three on Saturdays. That’s only happened two other times in the modern era of GS football: 1983 and 1984. In those two seasons, GS played four home games, five road games and two neutral site games. • Georgia Southern will now not play its first home game until Oct. 4 when it hosts Arkansas State for a Wednesday Night ESPN2 game. It will mark the first time in program history the Eagles will not have a home game in the month of September. In 1984, it was the fifth game of the season before the Eagles played at home while waiting for construction on Paulson Stadium to be completed, but that opener came on Sept. 29, 1984. • GS is the only FBS school to not play a home game yet in its stadium after FIU played at home last Saturday. • The University and the Athletics Department will be collecting donations at upcoming home sporting events to help with the relief efforts stemming from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The items collected will be shipped off in Georgia Southern’s 18-wheeler used for football. • Tyson Summers is in his second season as the head coach of the Georgia Southern Eagles. • In his first season as the head coach of the Eagles, GS had seven players named all-conference. Younghoe Koo was named a third-team All-American and the kicker was also named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award. • A native of Tifton, Georgia, Summers returned home in 2016 from Colorado State, where he served as the Rams’ defensive coordinator and safeties coach in 2015. Under his tutelage, the Rams defense ranked 20th in the country in passing defense. • Prior to his work at CSU, he spent three seasons at UCF, where he served as defensive coordinator in 2014 for a unit that ranked among the best in the nation. • In his first full season as a defensive coordinator in 2014, Summers guided the top defense in the American Athletic Conference, and one that ranked in the top 10 among FBS schools in total defense (5th, 298.5 ypg), rushing defense (6th, 104.3 ypg), scoring defense (9th, 19.2 ppg) and red zone defense (6th, 71.4%). Summers’ defense helped UCF to a 9-4 record, a second consecutive American Athletic Conference title and a berth in the Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl. • Summers was hired at UCF as a defensive assistant coach in 2012, and earned the title of linebackers coach one month later. For the 2014 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and that spring season, he was named interim defensive coordinator before being promoted to full-time defensive coordinator in April when spring camp concluded. • He helped call the plays in UCF’s upset victory over high-powered Baylor in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, capping an unforgettable season for the Knights. The win enabled UCF to set a school record with 12 victories overall and achieve a program-high by being ranked No. 10 in the final AP Top 25 Poll. • In 2012, Summers tutored a group that led UCF to a Conference USA East Division crown, a Beef `O’ Brady’s Bowl win and a 10-4 record. • Summers’ tenure at UCF came after a five-year stint at UAB that began in December 2006. He served as the Blazers’ linebackers coach and added the roles of safeties coach and co-special teams coordinator in the final season. • He coached the safeties at GS in 2006 a year after serving as a graduate assistant for Georgia in 2005. That season, the Bulldogs won the SEC title and earned a berth in the Sugar Bowl. • During the 2004 season, Summers was a G.A. at Troy, which reached the postseason and the Silicon Valley Classic, and in 2003, he helped guide the defensive backs at Presbyterian College. Summers earned his first coaching position at Tift County (Ga.) High where coached the defensive backs in 2002. • A four-year letterwinner at Presbyterian College, Summers earned preseason All-South Atlantic honors as a linebacker in 1999 and was selected as team captain as a senior. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from PC in 2002. • Summers is married to the former Beth King, and the couple has three sons, Jake, Walker and Anderson.

We are georgia SouThernWith no disrespect to our colleagues in Atlanta, we are Georgia Southern, not

Georgia State. We don’t ask for much; heck we think we’re pretty easy to deal with.

All we really ask is for media covering the Eagles to get our name right. You can call

us Georgia Southern, GS or the Eagles, just please don’t call us Georgia State!

- Sincerely, Eagle Nation

• Of the eight seniors on the 2017 roster, three Eagles are playing the season as college graduates. They are, in alphabetical order: Myles Campbell, Matt Flynn and George Johnson Jr. • Three more seniors - DeMarcus Godfrey, L.A. Ramsby and Shelby Townsend Jr. are scheduled to graduate in December and Chris DeLaRosa, Darrius Sapp and Chris Washington are on track to graduate in May 2018. • In addition, junior RJ Murray is scheduled to graduate in December and juniors Tommy Boynton and Ellis Richardson are slated to graduate in May 2018.

youTh iS Served

• When the Eagles take the field each week, they’ll be one of the youngest teams in the country with just eight seniors on the roster. The eight seniors (graduates and sixth years included) are the fewest of any FBS per a search of all 130 FBS school’s official website.

inexperienced Behind cenTer

• While they’ll be young at several positions, the inexperience at quarterback is a glaring example of the youth on the Eagles’ team. With five signal callers on the roster, junior transfer LaBaron Anthony was the most experienced entering the season with two FBS games under his belt. Starter Shai Werts redshirted last season and newcomers Kado Brown, Jaalon Frazier and Ryan Fitzpatrick are all new to the FBS scene in 2017. • Entering the season only fellow Sun Belt team Texas State had less experience at QB with no appearances or starts on its roster. Seven other FBS schools entered the season with zero FBS starts at the QB position on their roster: Texas State, UAB, Tulsa, Old Dominion, Iowa, Temple and Louisiana.

hiSTory in The making

• When redshirt freshman Shai Werts started at quarterback at Auburn, he made history as just the third Georgia Southern freshman (true or redshirt) quarterback to start the opening game of the season. • Several freshmen have started games at quarterback since the resumption of NCAA football in 1983, but Werts was the first frosh QB to start the first game of the season behind center since Charles Bostick took the first snap in the 1991 opener (also against Auburn). The only other freshman QB to start the opening game of the season was Hall of Famer Tracy Ham, who started against Central Florida in the 1983 lid-lifter. • Freshmen to lead the team in passing their first campaign include Tracy Ham (1983; 886 yards), Raymond Gross (1987; 481 yards), Kenny Robinson (1994; 706 yards), and Kevin Ellison (2013; 756 yards), but none of them started the first game of their freshman season at quarterback like Werts is expected to.

have a Field(S) day

• Junior running back Wesley Fields has been described as a hybrid between former Eagle Matt Breida, who is with the San Francisco 49ers, and senior back L.A. Ramsby. The three of them combined for 4,591 yards and 51 touchdowns in a dynamic backfield the past two seasons, helping the GS rushing attack lead the FBS in 2015. Now with Breida in the NFL, it’s Fields’ and Ramsby’s time to shine. • A threat to go the distance, on the goal line and in the passing game, Fields had a standout freshman campaign for the Eagles. The Americus, Georgia, native rushed for 682 yards and seven touchdowns on 101 attempts, averaging 6.8 yards per carry. He also had four receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown, including a 60-yard scoring reception against New Mexico State. • For his efforts, he was named to the All-Sun Belt Newcomer Team and was named the Offensive MVP of the GoDaddy Bowl after rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown while also catching a 17-yard pass in the Eagles’ 58-27 win over Bowling Green. • He has 1,291 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns for his career to go along with 17 catches for 278 yards and four scores.

home-groWn TalenT

• There are 84 players on the Georgia Southern roster who are from the state of Georgia.

Welcome Back

• Georgia Southern’s offensive line took an unexpected hit in 2016 when Tommy Boynton had to take the season off due a series of concussions he sustained in the spring of 2016. Boynton started all 13 games at right tackle as a true sophomore in 2015 and was expected to lead the line last year. • With his late grandfather suffering from C.T.E., the Jacksonville native contemplated taking a medical disqualification, thus ending his college career. Instead, he ended up using the year as a redshirt season and after improving over the course of the 2016 campaign and regaining his passion for the sport, he decided to return for spring practice and now anchors a young line in 2017. • He has played in 23 games - starting 16 - and the two years he was on the field, the Eagles led the FBS in rushing yards per game both of those seasons.

i love l.a. • While a lot of the attention was thrust on Matt Breida and his numbers the past three seasons, L.A. Ramsby was one of the quiet stars of the GS ground game. • Originally recruited as an option quarterback, the redshirt senior was moved to running back and ran for 691 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2014 as the Eagles led the FBS with an average of 381.1 rushing yards per game. • His legal name is Alfred Ramsby Jr., but is nicknamed L.A. - for Little Al (his father is Alfred Ramsby Sr.). • The Cincinnati native scored at least one touchdown in the final 10 games of the 2014 season, and scored a touchdown in the final nine games of 2015. Ramsby has rushed for 2,024 career yards and scored 34 touchdowns thus far, including a team-high eight last year.

overcoming adverSiTy

• Adversity is a word Todd Bradley doesn’t want to hear as he’s been through enough over the past 24 months. As a senior in high school, he was diagnosed with Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP) in his right shoulder. He was going in to have some scar tissue removed when the doctors diagnosed him. • DFSP is a rare type of cancer, a soft tissue sarcoma that develops in the deep layers of skin cancer. He had several surgeries to remove the mass and then had a skin graft in which they took skin from his groin and placed it on his shoulder. • The cancer caused him to miss most of his final season, but he was cleared on a Thursday and played the next night, returning for the final five games of his season. He signed with Georgia Southern in February 2016. • Last year, Bradley was contributing as a true freshman at both linebacker and special teams before suffering a torn ACL in pre-game warmups at Arkansas State. The week before, he posted seven tackles at Western Michigan and was on his way to a big year before the injury. • After rehabbing all spring, the sophomore is back full speed for the Eagles.

making an impacT • Senior slot receiver Myles Campbell is one of 146 nominees for the 2017 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, one of the most prestigious off-the-field honors in college football. • Campbell, from Duluth, Georgia, is active in the Statesboro community, participating in several reading events at local schools and went to Nicaragua this past spring break as part of Athletes in Action’s clean water initiative project. He has been named to the Sun Belt Conference’s All-Academic Team every year and graduated in May with a degree in finance. • The diminutive Campbell - listed at 5-6 - has 531 career receiving yards and four touchdowns and is expected to be the team’s starting slot receiver, as well as return specialist on punt and kickoff returns.

Why are There So many playerS? • Freshman long snapper Ryan Langan has never played football when there are 22 players on the field as he played six-man football at Riverside High in Nebraska. • Langan led the Chargers to three state championships as a long snapper and center, going 32-1 over that three-year stretch. • He was named first-team all-state at center and second team in the Grand Island Independent as a senior and joined the Eagles as an invited walk-on this fall. • Six-man is a fast-moving game played on an 80-yard long by 40-yard wide and specifies a 15-yard distance to gain a first down. All six players are eligible to be receivers, including all three required linemen. • The sport is played by high schools in Texas, Alabama, Florida, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Kansas and Wyoming, and in parts of Canada as an alternative means for small high schools.

“holding” iT doWn

• Senior Matt Flynn “holds” down the punting duties for the Eagles, but his performance as the holder the past two seasons has earned him some national accolades as he is a two-time nominee for the Mortell Holder of the Year Award. • The award was created in 2015 by its first recipient, Peter Mortell. The committee will select the winner using several main criteria including: quality of cadence, fluidity of hands (catch to hold), position of the laces, and post-hold celebrations. In addition, all successful fake field goal attempts are considered. • During his career at Minnesota, Mortell handled all punting and holding duties over three seasons. Last year’s winner was Garrett Moores of Michigan, who is back and looking to repeat as the winner of this prestigious award. • Flynn was the main holder for Younghoe Koo last season, who missed just one field goal all season en route to being named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award and is now a member of the Los Angeles Chargers.

QuiTe The roundaBouT Journey

• Junior Ellis Richardson has taken quite the route to get from his home town of Atlanta to Statesboro. Upon graduating from Douglas County High in 2013, where he was a first-team all-region and all-county selection at quarterback, he enrolled at prep school in Virginia. He then transferred to Los Angeles Valley College in the fall of 2014 as a true freshman and then transferred to at Alabama State in the spring of 2015. • Richardson played in nine games in 2016 at Alabama State, throwing for 739 yards and six touchdowns while

rushing for 550 yards and eight scores. After transferring to Georgia Southern last year, he had to sit out per NCAA transfer rules and used it as a redshirt season. In the spring, he was moved to H-Back, which is a hybrid tight end spot in the new GS offense and is one of two main H-Backs expected to see action this season for the Eagles. • Richardson’s father, Chuck, played linebacker at Clemson on the 1981 national championship team and his brother, Chris, played defensive end for Clemson’s football team from 2007-2010.

TrendSeTTer in The Training room

• Georgia Southern’s Brandy Clouse is in elite company as one of nine head athletic trainers for FBS teams who are female. She’s also one of just five females nationwide to be the head of the sports medicine department and oversee football. • Clouse, the Senior Associate AD for Sports Medicine, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology/athletic training from Georgia Southern in December 2000. Breaking doWn BarrierS

• Football operations is a critical position within a staff, a catch-all post that serves as the head coach’s right-hand man, or in this case, woman. Cymone George, who

handles the role as the Director of Football Operations for the Eagles, is responsible for taking care of all the travel arrangements, meals for the players and staff, and all the day-to-day operations of the football team. • George is one of just a handful of women to hold the position of director of football operations at an FBS school (130 schools), joining the likes of Danielle Bartelstein (Virginia Tech), Amanda Gilpin (UTSA), Deborah Goldstein (Washington) and Heather Henderson (Florida Atlantic).

reTired numBerS

• GS has retired two numbers in its football history, No. 3 for Adrian Peterson and No. 8 for Tracy Ham. Both are College Football Hall of Famers and both went to the same high school: Santa Fe in Alachua, Florida.

Since joining the FBS in 2014, in 40 total games, the Eagles are ...

• 23-7 when outrushing their opponents• 0-10 when being outrushed

• 21-1 when rushing for 300 yards or more• 13-0 when rushing for 400 yards or more• 4-0 when rushing for 500 yards or more • 1-0 when rushing for 600 yards or more.

georgia SouThern FooTBall TradiTionS

• Georgia Southern has a rich tradition in the college football world, winning six Division I-AA national titles, but also has traditions that make the program unique.

Yellow School Buses • When the football program was resurrected in 1981, the team needed a way to travel to practices and games. Operating on a shoestring budget didn’t allow for transportation back then, let alone any luxurious travel. The Bulloch County Board of Education stepped in with a deal the University couldn’t refuse: GS would only pay $1 each for two yellow school buses. The football team still uses the buses to this day, taking them to practices and using them on game day, as well.

The game on radio • All Georgia Southern football games can be heard throughout Georgia on the Georgia Southern Sports Network through Learfield. Danny Reed (play-by-play), Terry Harvin (analyst) and Russ Brown (sidelines) comprise Georgia Southern football’s on-air broadcast crew. • Georgia Southern games are broadcast on 24 affiliates across the state and can also be heard free of charge on the Internet through GS All-Access. Coverage for all GS football games begins two hours before kickoff with the Citizen Bank Countdown to Kickoff Show.

Beautiful Eagle Creek • When Georgia Southern resurrected the football program in 1981, traditions and spirit needed resurrection as well. So legendary head football coach Erk Russell created his own. Inspired by the gnat-infested drainage ditch that cut across the field between what was then the team’s locker room and practice fields, Russell convinced his players that its stagnant water was actually “Beautiful Eagle Creek,” a source of “magical” waters.

Freedom’s Flight • In what has become one of the most popular traditions at GS, “Freedom,” a male American Bald Eagle, takes flight before each home football game. Freedom is a Southern Bald Eagle that was found knocked out of the nest in Maitland, Florida. Only weeks old and appearing like a “brown ball of fuzz”, it was discovered that the young eagle had an injury to its beak and suffered from an infection. Rushed to the Florida Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, Freedom made a complete recovery from the infection but the injury to the beak was permanent, preventing his release into the wild. • With the permission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, GS acquired Freedom in 2004. Through the Georgia Southern University Center for Wildlife Education and Lamar Q. Ball Jr. Raptor Center, thousands of visitors young and old are embraced by the Power of Freedom. • Under the supervision of Steve Hein, Director of the Center for Wildlife Education, Freedom is on the sidelines of all GS home games, and select road games.

Block parTy

• Last season, Georgia Southern blocked seven kicks in Tyson Summers’ first season at the helm of the Eagles. That total was the second-highest in the FBS and tied for the third-most in school history.

• Georgia Southern’s exceptional home field advantage - and home record - is due in large part to the vocal and spirited Eagle Nation. The 25,735 for the Sept. 17, 2016 game against ULM was the largest regular-season attendance in history. Seven of the top 10 attendances have been recorded since 2014.

Game #1: Auburn Too Much For Eagles In Season Opener

AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn’s backfield duo of Kam Martin and Kerryon Johnson each rushed for 136 yards and one touchdown en route to a 41-7 Tigers (1-0) victory over Georgia Southern (0-1) on Saturday night. The lone score of the day for Tyson Summers’ squad came from the defense when linebacker Tomarcio Reese scooped up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham managed to find the end zone three times for the Tigers - twice through the air and once more on the ground - in his first collegiate start. Daniel Carlson, who has been a Lou Groza finalist for best kicker in the country for the past two years, missed two field goals but converted on two more to round out the scoring for No. 12 Auburn. Georgia Southern, no stranger to the spotlight that comes with a Southeastern Conference road game, made Auburn’s coaching staff sweat throughout the first half. The Tigers jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead, but two missed field goals and two turnovers helped the unranked Eagles climb back into the game. Stidham threw an errant pass over the middle of the field in the first quarter that landed in the hands of Jay Bowdry. Although the Eagles couldn’t convert their first takeaway into points, they made sure to take advantage of the opportunity one drive later. Senior linebacker Chris DeLaRosa knocked the ball out of Stidham’s hands to force a fumble that Reese scooped and took untouched to the end zone to cut the Tigers’ lead to 10-7. The Tigers found their groove offensively late in the second when Stidham redeemed himself with a rushing score, which was followed by a 36-yard touchdown run by Martin to make it a 24-7 going into halftime. Georgia Southern’s defense cut down on the long runs by Auburn in the second half, but Stidham then took to the air and threw his first touchdown of the year to make it a 31-7 game. In the fourth quarter, Carlson’s second kick through the uprights and Stidham’s second touchdown lob sealed the 41-7 victory for the Tigers. Werts played every snap at quarterback for the Eagles, proving he earned the confidence of Summers and Cook. He had accumulated 68 yards on the ground but lost 52 of them due to five Auburn sacks. L.A. Ramsby led Georgia Southern with 33 rushing yards while battery mate Wesley Fields wasn’t far behind with 21.

Game #2: Eagles Can’t Overcome Slow Start in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM - Trevor Knight threw a pair of touchdown passes to Neil O’Connor, and Evan Gray ran for 77 yards and a score to lead New Hampshire to a 22-12 football victory over Georgia Southern at Legion Field. The game, which was slated to be played at Georgia Southern’s Paulson Stadium, was moved to Birmingham because of the impending threat of Hurricane Irma. Shai Werts rushed 31 times for 124 yards and threw for 93 yards for Georgia Southern while Wesley Fields had 15 carries for 52 yards. Knight completed 13-of-22 passes for 129 yards and ran for 55 for UNH and O’Connor caught 11 passes for 118 yards. Miscues hurt the Eagles on two promising drives in the first half. GS went right down the field on its first possession of the game, but an errant pitch by Werts found the turf and was recovered by New Hampshire’s Brian Carter at the UNH 30-yard line. The Eagles drove down to the UNH 22-yard line midway through the second quarter but were backed up by the officials for an illegal chop block. GS had to settle for a 43-yard field goal try by Tyler Bass, which sailed wide right. Georgia Southern had four drives of 10-plays or more and held an 11-minute advantage in time of possession in the contest. Meanwhile, New Hampshire, ranked 12th in the FCS Coaches Poll, scored on its first two possessions of the game. Gray picked up a first down on 3rd-and-6 from the GS 17-yard line with a 7-yard run, and Knight hit O’Connor on a pop pass for a 10-yard touchdown on the following play. Knight then threw to Justin Malone-Woods on the swinging gate play for the two-point conversion and an 8-0 lead. Gray made it 15-0 with a 2-yard run on the Wildcats’ next offensive series. A 27-yard pass from Knight to O’Connor on the first play of the drive helped set up the score. UNH tacked on another touchdown with 3:48 left in the half when Knight and O’Connor hooked up for an 18-yard touchdown. Gray keyed that touchdown drive with a 47-yard scamper, and the Wildcats owned a 22-0 edge at halftime. Late in the third quarter, Georgia Southern drove down to the UNH 19-yard line before moving backwards due to some nice plays by the Wildcat defense. Bass got the Eagles on the scoreboard with a 43-yard field goal, the first of his career. Trailing 22-5, Werts broke off a 42-yard run to set up a 5-yard touchdown run by L.A. Ramsby with 6:18 to play. New Hampshire converted two first downs on their ensuing drive and ate up 4:01 of clock to put the game away. Georgia Southern outgained New Hampshire 326-274, including 192-72 in the second half.

Game #3: Quick Strike Indiana Moves Past GS, 52-17

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Morgan Ellison ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and Indiana scored 31 straight points to start the game on its way to a 52-17 football win over Georgia Southern at Memorial Stadium in front of 42,886 fans. Despite falling behind early, Georgia Southern quarterback Shai Werts threw for two touchdowns and L.A. Ramsby eclipsed the 100-yard mark rushing to try and rally the Eagles late. Two Georgia Southern turnovers led to 14 Hoosier points, and J-Shun Harris returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown as Indiana built a 31-7 halftime lead. Trailing 14-0 after the punt return, Georgia Southern looked to be building a little offensive momentum, but Ramsby fumbled at the end of a 16-yard pickup. Ellison picked up 34 yards on Indiana’s first play from scrimmage after the turnover, and Simmie Cobbs jumped on a fumble in the end zone for Indiana’s third TD of the game. Ellison took the handoff on the play and fumbled, but the officials ruled his knee down at the 1-yard line. The snakebitten Eagles suffered some bad luck when it was ruled after review that the ball was knocked out by Darrell Baker Jr. before the runner’s knee was down, and Cobbs made a clear recovery in the end zone for the touchdown. Trailing 31-0, the Eagles put together an eight-play, 77-yard scoring drive late in the half, and Werts hit a wide open Ellis Richardson down the sideline for a 23-yard touchdown. A 71-yard pass from Lagow to Ian Thomas 39 seconds into the third quarter, and a 42-yard pass to Williams from Peyton Ramsey 3:39 later gave the Hoosiers a 45-7 cushion. GS kept chipping away, scoring two more times in the third quarter, the first on a 63-yard scoring pass from Werts to D’Ondre Glenn before Tyler Bass banged a 32-yard field goal through the uprights. The only scoring of the fourth quarter came late as Andre Brown Jr. returned a fumble 22 yards for the final score. Werts threw for 129 yards and two scores while Ramsby went for 108 yards on the ground, his second time crossing the century mark in his career. Glenn had a big day in the passing games, catching three passes for 98 yards and a score. Defensively, R.J. Murray led the way with 12 tackles while Rashad Byrd tallied nine stops.
