2016-Present: Associate Dean for the University College, University of Louisiana- Created a Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies Degree

(BIS) with a customizable degree plan as well as ten new interdisciplinary degrees created by faculty in different colleges and local businesses

- Submitted a Letter of Intent for BIS and worked with the system and regents representatives towards its approval

- Secured letters of support from businesses for customizable BIS degree that would create a pipeline of student interns and employees

- Collaborated to help Develop a new Online Completers Degree (Online Bachelor’s of General Studies) to target “stop-outs” as well as nontraditional students and examine portfolio credit equivalencies

- Refined college curriculum and general education requirements for the over 700 majors

- Coordinated with admissions, registrar, foundation, career services, student support services, office of first-year experiences, athletics and all disciplinary colleges on recruitment, retention, mentoring, on student and faculty development

- Taught online only classes to traditional and non-traditional students for the Online Completer Program

- Shadowed Dean of Graduate School for the 2017-2018 Year- Represented College on Strategic Planning Committee,

- Compiled Louisiana high school graduate statistics and created a data set for targeted recruitment for POLS department

- Increased departmental enrollments by 30% to nearly 300 majors

- Created a Foundational account for the POLS department and increased alumni funding by 200%

- Created a Social Network presence for alumni announcements and donations

- Created an American Politics minor- Revised faculty workload rubric and evaluation process- Created a Leadership Studies minor- Created a competitive Moot Court team- Developed Departmental Strategic Plan and Mission

- Responsible for hiring process of new professors and an administrative assistants

2010-2012: Associate Dean for the College of Liberal Arts, University of Louisiana- Headed college-wide credit hour curriculum changes for nine departments from 124 hours to 120 hours, ensuring alignment with system and regents requirements- Examined advising processes and suggested possible improvements for the 3000 undergraduate and graduate students in College’s nine departments- Collected applications from and evaluated candidates for university endowed professorships- Helped to create College of Liberal Arts Day for high school students - Chaired internationalization task force to re-evaluate Memoranda of Understanding with domestic and international universities and determine where additional MOU’s were possible- Led SACS accreditation processes for all departments - Chaired COLA task force on new College Mission Statement- Headed exploration into University of Louisiana Polling Center; in 2018 this officially became the Kathleen Blanco Public Policy Institute- Collaborated on organization of and presentation for the Southern Association of College Admission Counseling Guidance Counselor Workshop- Created inaugural cadre of dual-enrollment classes from all disciplines in which faculty and graduate students from UL taught in local high schools- Created pool of faculty and graduate students for teaching opportunities at South Louisiana Community College- In Conjunction with all University departments and administrative bodies, created the inaugural Freshman Convocation; was the featured speaker at event- Created and led “Do’s and Don’ts: From a Professor’s Perspective” session at all seven Summer new student orientations- Worked with all departments and administrative bodies as part of Master Plan Housing committee to create six new Residence Halls on campus
