Russell Lakes SWA - Saguache County From the small town of Saguache in the northwest corner of the valley, go 9 miles south on US 285 to County Road R

and then 1 1/2 miles east (left) to the access roads on the right. The first access road dead-ends at the parking and camp-

ing area that serves Davey and Harrence Lakes. The second access road also leads to a parking and camping area. An-

other parking area is located on US 285 about 1 mile south of County Road R. And another parking area is located on the

south end of the property. To get there, go 2 miles south of County Road R on the highway and then 4 miles east (left)

on County road N to the access road.

Regulations: In addition to or in place of those restrictions listed in regulation #900 the below listed provi-sions or restrictions apply (see Ch. 9, http://cpw.state.co.us/aboutus/Pages/Regulations.aspx).

A. Camping is prohibited, except with self-contained

units in designated areas. B. Field trials may be authorized during February,

March, August, and September only. C. Public access is prohibited from February 15

through July 15. D. Vehicle parking is prohibited, except in estab-

lished parking areas.

E. Public access is prohibited, except as posted, to protect wintering and nesting waterfowl, and to protect administrative areas of the property.

F. Section 29 shall be closed during waterfowl sea-son.

G. During the first split waterfowl season, Russell Lakes SWA shall close at 1:00 p.m.
