“RUN BABY RUN”

Text: Hebrews 12:1-2

Hebrews 12 (NLT)

V1. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

V2. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.

Galatians 5:19-21

V19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the

results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful

pleasures,

v20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts

of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,

v21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like

these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone

living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God

What is the race we need to run?

ANSWER:

Galatians 12:22-23

Galatians 5: 22-23

V22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in

our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,

goodness, faithfulness,

v23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law

against these things!
